Technically Rowell could be considered a Midpricer but he costs a premium so if he's not a keeper he's a bust.
On price yes , on performance (so far) no

A third of your team probably changes by Round 1 anyway so it probably doesn't matter a lot at the moment anyway.

Anyone looking to back Danger in from the start? I am coming around to this idea.

Definitely going to be a top 3 forward, and (once fit) will be playing more midfield than last year.

My two major concerns are that he starts slows and builds fitness over the first month (with some poor scores) and a resting or two later in the year to freshen Danger up prior to finals (could be especially important this year with playing more midfield).

He has been in all my plans since Marshall went down. Back up is Kelly or Lloyd(even though I don't like his starting price being in Defence.)

Yes. Just my gut feel is that he looks after himself generally so doesn't rot too badly. The talk around Dusty this preseason seems really positive as well.

If you’re considering Wright, why is Daniher not being included then ?

Daniher will be BRL main target. Capable of taking marks and kicking multiple goals. Has had it confirmed by ***an that he will be their second ruck this year, which backs up the intra club reports that he did a fair portion of ruck work. And he’s $60k cheaper.
I just feel in my gut that Daniher is a trap.
Am probably wrong and in the spirit of this site don't want to wish bad things on those picking him.
Yes,he will be the main man in Brisbane fwd line but they appear to me to have more options than the bombers and I can't get past his lack of games over many seasons.
Even last year he started gangbusters but struggled to maintain (not surprisingly).
Having said that in my mind I have more reasons for not selecting JD than I have for Wright, just think he is being totally overlooked and thinking he is worth consideration.
Certainly wouldn't select both, but I usually start with one kpf, don't always get it right but the strongest kpf's are usually good contested Marks and near the top of the Coleman.

I think the biggest plus for picking Daniher is his ability to score 100+ which is exactly what you want from a cash cow, someone that can throw in a big score and accelerate their cash generation appose to a slow burn scoring 50's and 60's each week.
Exactly, the ability/potential to post a big 100+ score causing a big price spike is what makes him so appealing despite the obvious risk.
