Daniher is a monty to me. He's a first round pick price with proven scoring history and excellent job security, the durability undermines that a bit but if the #1 pick this year came out and knocked out a couple of 130 type scores in the preseason you'd be all over him, Daniher has got a few of those in real games.

I think sometimes we can overthink it and pass up the easy picks. This is a guy who has gotten away from one of the worst medical sta*** in the history of the sport and gone to what is probably the top example in the current game at least who has had his career derailed by that bad medical staff. Seems to have a point to prove, has a great role in a very strong team.

He could get hurt, just like every rookie is a good chance of getting dropped or injured but until he's injured, just worry about the other 29 spots in your starting team and take the open layup.

Daniher puts a couple of 100s up in a month and he's making 130k if he manages 60s everywhere around it.

Of course I like him even more as I almost picked him in 2018 as a starting pick because he was genuinely that good in 2017 and looked set to go to another level before all the injuries started.

Yes. Just my gut feel is that he looks after himself generally so doesn't rot too badly. The talk around Dusty this preseason seems really positive as well.
The dusty vs danger pick is the one I’m currently tossing up. That extra 70k does come in handy.... with the reduced rotations do they end up with the same forward/mid split?

Sidebottom v Danger (if you could only pick one)

I feel as if many of us are pricing Danger to score poorly at the beginning of the season, and Sidey to perform above average

Considering the mere 23k price difference, would many of you have Danger over Sidey?

Danger should be the #1 forward and Sidebottom might not get top 6 if a few can break out.

What’s people thoughts on Rayner? He has been playing as a pure mid this season and apparently tearing it up. Is he too awkward at his price 392k? Is he an upgrade option if he does well?
Will improve, but don't see a huge amount of cba's, will be part of the rotations. Still expecting him to have a higher forward split.

Tempting but I prefer Caldwell as a mid price fwd option especially after his CBA numbers in their practice game - lions midfield bats deep, I question how much time he will actually get in the season proper.

Danger for mine. Fitness obviously bears watching, but there's talk of him playing more mid time.

Love Rayner's potential but it's just hard to see the role. Clug, Neale, Lyon and Berry all still clearly ahead of him, Zorko I guess could swap roles and open the chance and the talent is absolutely there.

He definitely could work and I'm looking forward to being tempted when I watch him as I really rate him, very much in the Petracca hasn't built an engine but if he does his skillset is just pure SC goodness.

I don't think that's true. While he's definitely getting more mid time, I'm pretty sure he's still spending a fair chunk forward and that's bearing in mind before the GC game we've been going without Neale and playing ourselves, so double the number of mids required.

Could work this year. I have similar except I have a number of the 200k guys for added job security with 1 premo at F1.
I am actually finding Ziebell , Daniher & Impey a awkward price now (along with 6-8 onfield rookies) as it is making me look at too many of the $ 300-350k options + Cumming/Young etc which probably all need upgrading anyway.

Still like Heeney but might be still able to get him for a similar price at upgrade time
