That's really encouraging. McGrath returning may have little effect on Caldwell's midfield minutes.

Shiel with just 2 is interesting though. He was the main guy in there last season.

Think there was a comment that he might spend more time up forward this year.

Disappointed Draper is getting rested for the 2nd half but understandable.

Every time I watch him play I get more impressed, so athletic for a big man - bombers have got a ripper with him.

Yep, then more often than not he just bombs it to nobody in particular. Would want to become a better user of the footy to be in consideration for my team.

Not sure the stats on this but I think he is a good ball user, does occasionally bomb it long, but is mostly pretty reliable

What's changed with Dow?

Did he have injury niggles last few years maybe? Looks a completely different player today - I know some kids taking longer to develop than others but have to say that this transformation is very impressive.
