ankle , hamstring , elbow now collarbone

he is collecting a set far too quickly
Kid needs to drink his milk, the elbow and the collarbone were such nothing injuries as well.

Sucks for him, clearly got talent.

Gould not even an emergency.
Gould is one of those weird ones where other teams fans seem to think he should be playing for some reason but I've never got it. That 3rd tall role is one area Sydney is absolutely loaded with Rampe and Mills flat out elite, Dawson very good and Fox has been more than serviceable.

Lions forward out of R1, could miss six weeks
A knee injury will keep Lions forward Dan McStay out of the season opener

BRISBANE forward Dan McStay could miss up to six weeks after suffering a knee injury at training.

McStay and the club initially feared the injury could have been worse, but scans confirmed medial cruciate ligament damage that does not require surgery.

The best-case scenario is the 25-year-old could be out three weeks and be available for round two, although he could miss as much as the first month of the premiership season.

McStay was set to be used as part of a three-pronged tall forward line to open 2021 alongside Joe Daniher and Eric Hipwood.

He has been a regular since Chris Fagan's arrival as coach in 2017, playing 79 of a possible 87 games as a valuable contested marking option and link between the midfield and deep forward.

Tom Fullarton, who made an exciting debut against St Kilda last year, is likely to be given a chance to fill McStay's boots in the AAMI Community Series match against Gold Coast on Monday night.

We might be able to get that Brisbane rookie who could play backup ruck/third tall now.

Geez that is misleading if you don't read the article.

Could be back Round 2 , or more than likely Round 5.

Will have to see how they go about their lineup today. If someone else has ruck minutes over a forward/ruck option they may end up the 2nd ruck option when Mcstay is back.
Wasn't their talk of Daniher providing ruck relief ?

Be surprised if they played Daniher , Hipwood , McStay + another 2nd ruck option though.

I think it would be that defender that come in last year for Andrews. I think if he or Daniher take some then it'll let us get a rough idea who would take them when and if McStay gets back in.
