I reckon Butts might score ok. Adelaide backline going to see more ball than every other team bar North.
Can't say the same about Cox..

We will know soon enough but I feel spoilt for choice with fwds & most have dpp mid.
I remember thinking something similar about Zerk-Thatcher last year. The only positive was that he was expensive enough to be an easy correction to Doedee. Obviously he was dropped or injured, but when he did play in the second half of the season his price went nowhere. McAsey's scoring was even worse. Unless they're the next Weitering I don't think there's a case for picking expensive rookie key defenders.

This late announcement of teams is really giving me the......
Plus I work weekends so often miss the final teams.
For the sake of my sanity I might just pick the better cash cows whether they are there round 1 or not and que sera sera. I would hate to pick a crap one who misses round 1 or gets dropped early anyway.
I'd rather pick a donut to play than a player to donut.

Hey Freo people: Michael Frederick. I liked his game on the weekend. He's got a decent size and great pace. Same price as Cox but is a 2nd year player who was used 10 out of 17 games last year. With Walters gone for a few weeks probably, he has less competition for that small forward/wing role he seemed to be playing. Gotta say that he looks a better chance to score than Cox, who looks pretty young and thin to be scoring too well.

He's an ok pick, his disposal last year let him down, seems like he's improved with a full preseason, might get you 60ish

Not my opinion but I’m seeing several Melbourne supporters on various forums with Bowey ($117,300 MID/FWD) in their round 1 expected lineups.

If he plays I think he will be a good pick as he will play off half-back and is very suited to SC with his elite kicking skills.
