As others have said, he's back in full training and good to go.

Definitely some concerns for me though given his historically high pricing and that the knee was his 2nd issue of the preseason, he also missed an earlier intra-squad match with I believe a calf concern. Bit of a worry to have two separate injuries at the time that he had.

Coupled with the Dawson and Campbell factors and there is a genuine case to not start him but still be surprised if he's not in the elite tier for defenders, quite possibly on his own, rule changes should be significant bonus for him as I think we'll see less long kicks down the line which means a bit more retention and we all know that retention is hot chips for seagulls.
Thanks. I didn’t realise he had a calf issue as well. Certainly something to think about 🤔😬

Freo really need a new fitness/medical team. Always plagued with injuries.
They already do. The physio and the strength conditioning coach both left/got moved on at the end of last season. Part of the JL refresh. Many theories on why Freo get so many injuries. IIRC they held several internal reviews into why they got so many injuries but I suspect they never got a satisfactory answer. Training ground has been mooted in the past.

I thought he was injured.

Edit. But now I see he played yesterday so clearly he has recovered.
He kicked himself in the calf and had to deal with that for a truly creative new way to get injured (was being tackled but still...). I can't imagine that's more than a bad corkie so shouldn't be a big negative to anything fitness wise and the like.

Apparently in everything yesterday. He won't have the role he needs at AFL level to score well but he was captain of SA before being drafted and is well regarded which are good signs. I think the club will want to whet his appetite.

Would be really good to see the 29 back out on the park.

Max King will miss the opening round of the season due to a concussion.
King was struck in the head by a golf ball on Thursday afternoon.
In line with the AFL’s latest concussion protocols, King will be mandated to spend a minimum of 12 days on the sidelines.
