Hi, after the first game has started under the rolling lockout system, if we decide to swap out a rookie or indeed any player for another playing later in the round does it count as a "trade" and come off our season total of 30? Any assistance would be appreciated.

The one thing I take away from that photo is that Meek likely wont get pushed around physically by Gawn at the stoppages as much as you'd expect a rookie ruck to.

Could we potentially be looking at a Pittonet-esque debut against Gawn for the second season in a row?

Agree with Flynn but should not be forgotten that Briggs and Mumford are options and eg Briggs could be used as a fwd with Ricardi/Hogan out early

Hey all. Not sure if this belongs in x vs y thread but, how necessary do we think Tom Powell really is? He was a gun junior but I didn't see what the fuss was about in the North game. At the moment the only way I can afford him is by downgrading Daniher into him which would, admittedly, allow me to upgrade Zorko into Dunkley

35 from 79% game time in the pre-season is a bit of a concern for me. If I need another playing mid rookie I'll lock him in, but hoping there are better options as confirmed starters before the first game.

Not sure there are. He played 79% TOG so seems he has good JS.

Depends on the availability of Bergman and Warner for mine. I've got 82k in the kitty so Bergman to McNeil affords Warner to Daniher. But having McNeil, Fullarton and Rowe as my forward rookies is shakey at best.

Might be worth waiting 2 rounds and seeing if he makes a handy corrective trade with some extra change attached
