Lloyd/123k fwd rookie (Jones,Bergman)

vs

daniel/Dow?
I have gone Lloyd. Hard to pick defenders 4-10, Lloyd just stands out. Changed around a lot, ended up cutting Impey for me, with 4 defenders, having Laird/Lloyd and not Whitfield, Ryan, Howe or some other bolter, think you just need to have the best. Outside game style if it stays should help Lloyd as much as Daniel. Mills out of defence may see more go via Lloyd, only risk is who takes kick ins.

Hi all, would appreciate anyone's thoughts on:

D.Tyson & Fyfe or
P. Dow & Oliver

Was really impressed with Tyson's game v Hawks in the AAMI match, will he get selected R1 & have good js? I know a few of the Nth mids missed that game. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

And forgot to put mine in...

Lloyd and Fyfe (donut) allowing to loop Highmore/Kosi and captain

vs

Short and Clark but not fielding Highmore/Kosi.

If it matters, 5 premium backs in both scenarios.

If going 5 premos in the back, would definitely go the option with Lloyd. Whitfield more than likely to be your last upgrade in defence. As opposed to having to choose between one of Lloyd/Whitfield as your last upgrade in the 2nd scenario.

So Lloyd & donut.

I think that @Tamuhawk’s point is a relevant one. One thing I’d flag is that Whitfield’s injury seems quite bad to me (I think I read he’s indefinite, and has lost significant weight), so I am working on the basis that he is very unlikely to be back and performing at his best soon.

It’s possible he becomes a really good upgrade target a month or so after he returns, but I think it’s also possible he’s not someone we need to target last year (not a top premium/hits form too late).
