Just not sure I like Bergman, seems great, just the JS in a strong lineup.

7 midpricers

think you are 1 midpricer short

need to fix Briggs & Saunders

Can you get Sharp into defence (for Briggs) , Campbell into the mids for Saunders and play on field and bring in Fullarton ?

might need Powell in the mids

nice mix though

Be interesting how Oliver scores with the new rules.

Neale to Danger / Zorko maybe beef up F4

Briggs is my Flynn insurance, will see if he's named. If I swap Sharp to defence, I lose the link with Clark, Fullerton is interesting, not sure how well he goes next to Joey and Hipwood. Is he giving the big O a chop out in the ruck too? Definitely no Powell, as he'd be on the pine, I know I'm too deep in the mids, but happy to give it a go.

Your missing mid price piece is either Atkins (Geelong) or Tyson.

Lose either Neale or Oliver to a F/M and you kill the bird with 2 stones.

And allows Powell onfield.

Fullarton is the backup ruck option so (allows the link if and when you need to correct your Ruck line as well)

@BarginHunter

Hey mate , very keen to see your starting side after last year's experience 😀

Should be no excuse to have any more than 1-2 non players on your bench from the start.

Hey, yep after last years mess i have been more hesitant about my starting team. (should of paid more attention to the premos, but oh well, i have faith since they are PREMOS)

I have done the complete opposite to last year and have selected to play rookies on every line(now all i need is a donut?)
I cant seem to attach the picture of the team so ill do it the long way

D:Laird, Stewart, Howe, J Clark, Briggs, Kosi (Sharp, Highmore)

M: Neale, Oliver, Macrae, Merret, Rowell, Taranto, Campell, Powell (Brockmen, Gulden, Mcneil)

R: Gawn, Grundy, (Flynn)

F:Butters, Caldwell, Zieball, Daniher, Warner, Scott (Rowe, Fullerton)

Might do some more playing before the end of the round?

That actually is a very well balanced side and structure.

Butters , Caldwell
J Clark , Ziebell , Daniher

good mixture of rookies

✓✓✓✓

well done

Be patient for 2 rounds , then in Round 3 do 2 rookie corrections if needed

DONT trade out premiums unless they are injured

wait for your bench rookies to make $$$$$ , then trade them down to new rookies

then upgrade onfield rookies to premiums

like I tried teaching you last season

do that and after 6-8 weeks you will be pumping out 2200+ scores and enjoying SC a lot more

good luck , I think you are well set up

Cool, yeah couldn't have made it without you and this site.

Hoping to wait until rd 4 (best case scenario) to start trades but for now we wait

I did dabble with rookie rucks but since this is my second season thought it would be a good idea to play it a little safer

Thanks again

Oh ok cool. Yeah too late to use him this round but hopefully he'll be good for next

Wish Clarry could get his DE % and K/H ration up a bit. Might be a be one of the inside with not much outside that suffers a bit.

A lot of tweaking and it's far from perfect, but I'm happy enough with this lineup:

DEF: R. Laird, T. Stewart, J. Howe, S. Docherty, J. Clark, T. Highmore (J. Koschitzke, H. Sharp)
MID: Z. Merrett, J. Kelly, N. Fyfe, P. Cripps, M. Rowell, D. Heppell, B. Campbell, T. Powell (S. Berry, T. Brockman, A. Scott)
RUC: B. Grundy, M. Flynn (L. Meek)
FWD: J. Dunkley, D. Martin, T. Phillips, J. Ziebell, J. Daniher, C. Warner (T. Fullarton, J. Rowe)

$138.9k in the bank for any corrections that might be required, but I'm happy enough with my premo choices at this stage so it might just be the rookies who need a tweak.

I might need to make a pre-emptive move from Brockman to Gulden unfortunately, given that the Hawks team isn't likely to be named until after the Swans game has started, otherwise I might have just sat on that too for another week.
