It is true, after a round starts you can not reverse trades.

Trading Danger -> Martin and then Martin -> Danger is not reversing trades.

Reversing trades re-sets you team to last weeks ending status, thats why the 'Reverse Trades' does not work after the round has started.

I beleive is is a 'loopohole' that doing the Danger -> Martin and Martin -> Danger costs no trades, like wise Danger -> Martin and then Martin - >Mitchell only costs one trade.

But it only works if you have a trade un-used for the round.

If you did Rowell -> Mitchell and then Danger -> Martin you would have no trades left fo the week so you would be unable to do the reverse Martin -> Danger trades.
It's also worth noting that this obviously isn't intentional so may change at any time. I wouldn't rely on it.

Its not over yet, Max goes 130+ today and Flynn is a late out, then it will be over :p;)
Based on pre season posting I thought Gawn was automatically locked in for 150+ for the first 6 rounds , so anything less would be considered a failure 😉

The ruck story could still be alive

I guess the fact is I have Flynn , Fullarton , Hunter & Meek so just need to work best with what I have got at the moment.

But after Grundy's performance last night I suspect a lot of SC coaches slept easier.

I have Cripps and think I will hold. He was a few dropped marks away from scrapping 100 and will no doubt go on a run of big scores at some stage
Gone, won't even think twice. He'll need a run of solid scoring games to come back in to my team which will be fine as he'll remain low priced for some time. More value in a performing rookie IMO ATM

You wouldn't hold him as an M8?
At worst he goes at 100-105 you would think.
I think he is value at under $500K to bring in, although its not a priority.

Not 'Reverse Changes' It's just trading out Player B for Player A (The original player) and it allows you to keep your original number of trades

This perfectly sums up what I was trying to say earlier , nailed it.
So if I read this correctly, I can trade Danger to a player playing later in the round and then on-trade that player to my player of choice and that only counts as one trade?? That's a fairly significant loophole if it works. Would be bloody valuable given the spread of games from Thurs to Sunday and the 24 hour team announcements.

2/240 Walsh and Grundy.

Lucky I removed the other 6 Blues from my team before round 1. 😉
I am starting to fear that this Blues rebuild is going to turn out like the Melbourne one in that it was never quite good enough.
I still think the blues have time to get it all to gel but the next 2 years will be telling.

I wouldn't think so once Dangers game starts the trade is done and you can't on-trade. If you can that makes 2 loopholes I had no idea you could do.

Danger has been traded out so doesn't come into the equation at all

eg Danger - > Dusty (nah changed mind) Dusty - > Tex Walker

= 1 trade
Your mentioning the first loophole this is different. This is after the Danger game has started I believe @Wheedus has mentioned.

ok I have posted about it enough

it worked in BBL SC , people have posted it has worked again already this season for AFL SC , so I will just leave it at that

of course once the Geelong game has commenced you can't change Dangerfield out

geez if that loophole existed you would trade out every player that had a dud score eg Cripps

Oh God... Teague in the presser saying "I thought Cripps looked good as a forward"...

Final nail fired.

Guy just looks like he has no idea to be honest.
It’s a nice way of saying Cripps is to slow for midfield.

Now how to move him up to a keeper.

As a replacement for Danger, to allow the crips Titch/ Boak trade next week.

Who would you suggest in the FWD line that could be F6 at years end that is under 500K.?

Think I’m in it for the long haul with Cripps as I definitely feel he will turn it around. He was useless and looked horrible last night, yet still managed to score 80...

If he was 600k+ I would be more inclined to trade, but he is only 520k. Only reason I can see myself trading him is if Heppell goes large and looks like a must have.

Dow > Jordan is locked, so long as Jordan looks good again

You wouldn’t be tempted to use the Dow -> Jordon cash to turn Cripps into a $600+ type premium MID?

Agree re. Heppell. Going to be a close watch. With McNeil a likely trade to Jordon for me (unless Bergman or Fullarton spud up) I won’t have enough money to also get Cripps to a Martin/Walsh. So would either have to hold or find someone in the similar price range, Taranto or down to Heppell and pocket the change.
