Well notwithstanding a few objections (which have been noted!), I am sure other Pies fans appreciate your sentiment Bomber.

Unfortunately some of Collingwood’s issues appear very much self-inflicted at this point, but hopefully we can bounce back sooner rather than later. Some of our kids seem to be pretty handy, so with a little luck we can give them a run soon, which will be good for the Pies and Supercoaches alike 🙂

No footy club is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. The way the media have put your Pies through the wringer makes me wince and they have probably created a bit of a travesty. Bad things happen but we all know that the media love milking footy stories for all they are worth.

I do think you drafted well. Good bunch of kids, particularly Henry, Macrae and McInnes. Plus the emergence of young Daicos and the even younger Daicos just around the corner is worth getting excited over.

That’s very true. These things playing out in the press usually isn’t that good for anyone. It does annoy me that we appear to have treated Treloar very poorly though, I’m quite disappointed about that. Bad trading (if it was that) is one thing, but bad behaviour is another!

I gather we may see Macrae sooner rather than later if he keeps going the way he has. Keen to see if he’s as good as has been touted.

I do this every year, I'm sorry to do it again - but can someone remind me the formula for calculating Price v Av? ie. what a player is priced at.

From memory the magic number (what each point is worth) at the start of the season is about $5400. So a player with a 100 avg is worth $540k. This number decreases as the season goes on, dropping the value of all players.

I am sure someone else can explain it better/more correctly.

My guess is that Brisbane will start a mini- bubble , and as long as covid doesn't spread to other states , there will be no effect on the fixture.

My guess is that the Lions will stay in Melbourne and play the game in Melbourne in the same time slot on thursday. They are scheduled to play again in Rnd 22 I believe, so maybe that goes to Brisbane?
