At the moment not sure what to do. I have both Fyfe & Cripps (& Taranto) in the midfield as headaches.
Initial thought is: Fyfe to Titch and maybe Taranto to Ridley (via Clark).

Is this too sideways and trigger happy? Any opinions are most welcome, thank you.

Exactly

Only need Flynn & Meek to work for another 4 games.

$ 600k gives you 3 upgrades in Round 5 & 6 easy as pie.

Surely you picked Duggan , Taranto & Phillips for a reason so can't see the point ditching them after 2 games.

Essentially you have replaced R2 with a higher scoring R3 , replaced Cahill with JordOn so your onfield scores theoretically improve.

You have also brought in 2 of potentially the best cash cows.

Given yourself 🏦 to then look at your 3 problem children.

And then allow yourself possibly 3 upgrades while everyone else is waiting for cows to fatten.
Yeah I did, but did not expect them to go so poorly, probably not so much Taranto and Phillips, but for Duggan to put up 2 60ish scores is not acceptable.

Have you already used 2 trades? If not then I'd go for it. If you have then maybe look to do just the 1? You've obviously picked Taranto for a reason at the start. Fyfe with 1 CBA on the weekend is the nail on the coffin and has to go IMO. So Fyfe out probably the priority. I would even do Fyfe to Ridley instead and hold the other trade. Does this leave you too weak in the midfield?

With the Cripps news, maybe Cripps > Jordon.

Also don't have Berry of the interesting looking rookies.

I hate having $600k in the bank though.

Thanks very much for your input/reply. I've used 1 trade so far (Danger to Zorko last week, disaster, was going to trade in Titch).
Yes, seeing how Longmuir is now using Fyfe with freos inj problems, it's a big red flag that he's not spending any time in the midfield staying up forward. I had Ridley preseason and last minute swapped him out to Howe (another bad choice). I picked Taranto as a pseudo stepping stone/premium to one of Neale, Oliver, etc...

I really want Titch even though he doesn't look to be at his absolute best, he's consistent and trustworthy and i also want Ridley, his B/E is 60 so its now or i'll have to wait till later in the season. Cripps is playing inj as we know, i have 101k in the bank prior to trading. I've attached my team below.

I'm coming around to keeping Tom Phillips (who still sleeps with a ruggie)
He still got 25 possessions against the best pressure side ever.
He has the best ball magnet in the middle gifting it too him.

With me keeping him,

It's

Fyfe forward wasn't great, but he could easily slip back into the mids on a 50/50 basis when Treacy completes his suspension. They'll have their structure right up forward. That's my 2 cents on Fyfe.

Cripps to Ridley through Sharp (goes to the mid bench), Fyfe to Titch, Jordon or Powell on the field.

Nice team (y)
