Wonder if Perkins debuts and gets mid time, they are pretty short on options right now, played both mid and forward in the reserves from all reports.
Maybe some rookies come in but I would think that the Bombers need to replace experience in the middle with experience. Perish/McGrath/Heppell more inside time?

@Bomber18 @Philzsay @pizza safety Might be the guys to ask about how the Bombers structure up now to Replace Shiel and Caldwell.
Hopefully he debuts but think they will ease Perkins in first before putting in the guts.

A lot will depend on if Trucks mindset and if he decides we are in full rebuild gameday mode or not yet.

Thinking Parish and McGrath get more mid time, and you may see Smith and even Tippa have an occasional centre bounce.

I'm not confident Heppell will even play this week, and if he does will probably stay in the backline.

Unsure what to do with Fyfe. Missing 1 or2 rounds doesn’t make it clear cut like Danger when it was 3. Who’s keeping or culling?

Have all the rookies other than Impey.

He's only missing one round at this stage, obviously could be more if the severity of the concussion is deemed to be high....but nothing to suggest that is the case at this early stage

I am holding him

Is Warner a must have rookie? I have Cripps and Heppell to deal with.. 1 potentially not playing (2 missed games) and one playing injured so output reduced..

1 trade is to Jordan, just don’t know whether to go up to premo or grab Warner for $$ generation.. 30 trades still left

its based on a 5 year review of the first two games
Hardly the most complete set of data. The most obvious trend is that all those players you listed played in finals sides, Adelaide making finals would be a massive shock. Walker's played 6 full or close to full seasons in his career, and has kicked 50+ goals in 3 of them. 2/3 50+ goal tallies were over 23 games. I'd be astounded if Walker can return to his best goalkicking form despite the obvious weakness of this Adelaide side.

If anyone's picking him up, it has to be in the hope that he maintains this purple patch long enough to be a decent cash cow.

Found a way to get Kosi off from D6, Cripps > Ridley via Sharp.
Have all the rookies I need, don't think I missed any this week.

Ridley Laird Stewart Daniel Short Highmore (Kosi/Cox)
Macrae Zerrett Jelly Taranto Gulden Jordon Powell Berry (Brockman/Sharp/Fyfe)
GG (Flynn)
Dunks Dusty Ziebell Daniher Campbell Warner (Rowe/Scott)

Looks good?
Ridley is like Docherty from a few seasons ago when he was basically the only guy who could kick the ball out of the Carlton back line plus he can intercept mark. I think he will really hurt teams who don't have him so I reckon it's a great trade, will be top 3 back at least imo.

So thinking this team looks better, taranto to young, clarke to bowes, 167k in the bank.
Thoughts?

Clarke to young is way to mid-pricey-sideways trade for me. Focus needs to be getting Henry out for a better rookie when you can and trading up Taranto.

Honestly, If you don't have any money to get Taranto up to a better player, Brayshaw or Walsh for 550k? I would just hold on trades.
Taranto isn't that bad and still might end up making you 50k. I kinda think you are looking for trades just for the sake of it.
Best of luck.

Neale, Danger, Cripps, Rowell, and now Fyfe - already turned Rowell, Danger to Mills & Dusty.

Got 56k, should i go Neale + Cripps to Oliver and Titch?

Or Dow to Warner. + Cripps to Titch?

I feel like Neale trade is a must but already burnt 2. My reasoning being if carrying niggle not match fit + tags. Or if he out inj after price drop im screwed. I also got him for a reason, he says he gonna be better this year, done a lot of running and hb. 2 minds its annoying me but clearly my team needs correction.

The other issue is i had Dow 53sc, Rowe 19, Scott 23 = were on field last week. Hence Warner need.

Lloyd, Laird, Short, Daniel, Mills, Clarke, (Highmore Kosi)
Neale*, Macrae, Fyfe, Cripps*, Tarranto, Powell, Jordan, Gulden (berry, sharp, brockman)
Grundy, Flynn, (meek)
Dusty, Dunks, Ziebell, Dow, Rowe, Scott (Bergman, Jones)

Will bring Highmore on and Clarke to mid for Fyfe

Any thoughts on this would be welcomed👍👍👍
I like your 'Dow to Warner. + Cripps to Titch' trades.
Cripps has concerns, while Mitchell looks a safe selection. If you don't think Dow will improve in the near future, then Warner looks a good choice.

I'd be more inclined to fix the rookies rather than trade Neale out. If you trade Neale then you are going to miss out on substantial cash gen from a rookie adjustment. So 2 of your suss Fwd rookies to Campbell and Warner. Cash gen is critical.

Think I will hold struggling premiums for now, and move Fullarton and Daniher on for Jordon and Tex.

Neale is my lowest averaging mid on the field, and I have Fyfe on the bench :ROFLMAO:

Thanks for that.

Happy reading on Warner.

Doesn't look convincing for Walker at all though based on his projections.

Interesting though looking at the other players , and just highlights what I was talking about yesterday no way in hell bench players like Koschitzke , Sharp , McNeil , Hunter & Fullarton are getting near making $ 150k.

Be surprised if Scott does as well.

Well and good having all these onfield rookies scoring but , but will be tough getting enough $$$ from downgrades.

I guess people view things differently.

After this round I would have used 3 trades.

Need at least 9 onfield upgrades so allowing 18 perfect downgrade trades that's my 30 trades already.

Obviously it will be all about if and when the next batch of rookies appear and they look viable to do a downgrade.

Ideally I would like to do :-

Round 7 - 2 down
Round 8 - 1 down/1 up
Round 9 - 1 down/1 up
Round 10 - 2 down
Round 11 - 1 down/1 up

Then try and compete 6 upgrades during the Byes.

If my bench rookies don't improve immensely I doubt that will happen.

Better get the thinking caps on

Hopefully the closer the onfield rookies get to a $ 250-300k profit each , the better it is.
Walker a hard one to pick. Sure, if he scores 80 he goes to circa $400k. JackR on AFL360 talking about quicker game, more offensive, different to last two years, less contest, less stoppages. Could he surprise over next 5 weeks vs the doubters?

Agree on the bench rookies, making $150k, very shallow. Funny Brockman getting focus with his 77, 22 week before. probably a 55 player going forward.

Difference this year is onfield money making rookies looks better than normal and spread across several of them.

3 after this round is ok, some will be 4 and many 2 used.

I was very keen on Walker for the 5 week cash grab but think long term Warner makes me more $$$.

Just could be a massive loss of points over that period Walker v Warner.

Definitely a lot of Walker doubters on here , as great as the site is it can be very easily swayed by Group think.

Sometimes you just to ignore the posts and back your own judgement , if it works excellent , if not put your hand up and claim it.

If Walker does get to $ 450k he is not far away from Dangerfield or Marshall , Neale possibly , premium defender or Ruck.

Or just a downgrade.

Problem is if the 4 Swans rookies all score poorly against Richmond their cash growth slows quickly.

We might have all the onfield "boom" recruits needing to be upgraded all at the same time , and not being able to do it.

Think if coaches can get Highmore to D7 , Berry & Powell to M9 & M10 , Rowe (if keeps his place) to F7 their is 4 that should make the $ 150k mark to downgrade.

Brockman is a prime example on.how a rookies scores can change from game to game.
