Oliver for me. I reckon he would have been more popular than Titch last week if they’d been the same price, and that he’s worth the difference.
Starting to lean Oliver, Titch has had a very interrupted preseason and those stellar performances could dwindle very slightly as his shoulder is a bit sore early in the year. Oliver had his off season shoulder issues as well, but much less, and I did have him in for most of preseason - so he is coming in.

Neale to Oliver and Cahill to Ziebell, or Henry to Rowe/Brockman and Cahill to Impey?
The first one sounds better to me, assuming you think Neale will be hindered for some time/lose a very substantial amount of cash vs Oliver.

Normally I think getting the rookies right is the top priority in R3, but I’m not sure the ones you mention are must haves, and I suspect Ziebell (especially when fit) is as important as any of them.

I brought in Oliver last week as my Danger replacement, FWIW.

Basically this. I took Oliver out just a couple of days into the season, which makes me more comfortable bringing him back in. Titch has done well, and may very well continue to do so, but there is a reason I took him out months ago.

Edit: just read your prior post on Titch and Oliver ... great minds 🙂

I'm after a Cripps replacement- A Brayshaw vs Dusty vs Mills vs Bowes +120k?

Brayshaw- leaves my team the same as it was structurally, not sure he can continue to produce the same level of scoring and I've still got Taranto as a probable M8 at best candidate.
Dusty- Would mean Taranto at M5 and one extra mid rookie on field. I avoided him on the belief that he'll remain the same ~100 player he has been consistently, not sure I'm ready to admit defeat based on skyrocketing ownership and the idea that he's fitter and more motivated this time, which is a bit "it's the vibe" for me. If I'm right and he continues to score inconsistently, I've already missed two of his best b2b scores of the season.
Mills- Would be D5, takes Highmore off the field with Taranto M5. Great game R1 against an opponent that applied no pressure, only ok R2 when there wasn't a lot for him to do. I wasn't convinced his midfield play was 100% there yet in pre-season, I got that one wrong at least. He does look very good assuming he stays where he is, and I don't think Parker and Kennedy are going to be taking too many of his points.
Bowes- Another one I got wrong based on pre-season. I thought his low ceiling would continue to keep his scoring down. Definitely the weakest option of the 4 though, especially as we're yet to see what will happen to GC's ball movement when they're really challenged.

I’m in a similar situation, comes down to Dusty V Brayshaw for me as my last two defender spots are left for Lloyd and Whitfield.

I had Dusty down at 104 at the start of the year. So if you adjust that to 108, you are looking at around 105 from here. Brayshaw I had down at 108 but that could be towards 115 with the role and way he’s playing at the moment.

Brayshaw has the higher potential imo, but Dusty is the much safer option and still the best player in the comp.

To say I’m torn is putting it lightly.

Powell v Impey? Both TOGs are similar.

Powell played Port first around and managed a decent score, though has kicked a goal a game so far - probably will make more cash

Impey I see as higher scoring upside and could lean into keeper territory - probably will score more

I've had the same idea of leaving D5 and D6 for Lloyd and Whitfield/Luke Ryan. I'm less sure now despite my reluctance to go too deep on any line early in the season. Whitfield's fragility is always a concern, and who knows how bad things will look for GWS by the time Whitfield's back.

Also, is it too early to be adjusting Dusty's expected average? I'd say it is.

If you're sure Impey can consistently score that well he's a no brainer. Otherwise Powell all the way.

If you are thinking a potential F/D6/7, Atkins for sure, purely because defence is the strongest line where we shouldn't skimp on quality. The forward line is sketchy so Atkins could actually come within 5 or so ppg of the top 6. Considering him myself.
Exactly were I was leaning. Just like Cumming's role: taking all the kickouts and scoring 100 pts despite 10 turnovers!

I didn't even notice. Might have to have a look at him! Atkins for me though still.

Mine is, Atkins vs. Impey? The talk on Impey is getting to me. Wasn't into him but I'm coming around. Who scores more?

I haven't seen a return date for M crouch so Berry potentially has a good run of games.

Brockman looks like he has some talent but not a great sc role.
Even when Crouch is ready to return, there's a massive chance that Berry isn't the one to make way.
His tackle, pressure and just general endeavour and competitiveness would make it near impossible to drop him based on his first couple of games, and what I've seen of him in the NAB league a year or so ago and the Crows practice games this year.

Sam Berry is exactly the type of player you want in a young development team.

I haven't seen the crows this year apart from a practice match against port. Berry and Pedlar looked good in that game. I was going for a no vic draftee theory because you couldn't do anything in victoria last year.
