Highmore at D6 , ideally would prefer him at D7 (just in case)

Just impatient trying to get the perfect setup ASAP.
if you have 5 defender premiums, you should be in no hurry to fill that spot up. Whitfield might turn up or you might fancy Aliir as a keeper, lol. Obviously you'll have weakness in other lines, so let the cows moo, then go bang!!

Looks like I'll need to keep one of Fyfe or Caldwell this week in order to take Grundy's score. There's every chance Fyfe comes back next week and goes on to play another 16 to 18 games this season at 110+ but equally he might miss the next 2 - 3 games and come back to average 85 stuck at full forward.

Should I be going Fyfe to Dunkley or Caldwell to Butters? I've got bank so if I do Fyfe out this week, price changes might open up more options for Caldwell next week, like Taylor Adams for example.

I’d 100% keep Fyfe.

Would make sense to trade out the guy who will be out for longer. So Caldwell to Butters easily.

Or if you do have enough cash. Caldwell to Dunkley.

I am actually looking forward to watching your man Markov tomorrow night in case I am tempted.

Daniel , Laird , Lloyd & Stewart

D5 is Fantasia , D6 Highmore

D7 Koschitzke
D8 Fyfe

Yes must be patient between Round 4-6 , the only trade I hope I need to do is :-

Hunter - > ???

Thanks guys. I think the biggest thing is I'm nervous about not having Dunkley. Wondering if his price might skyrocket and I might miss out for ages. Also probably his best score coming tomorrow. Unfortunately about 80k short of Dunks. Butters might be the best I can do.

Keep Fyfe.

He was on target for 120 last week even playing pretty much permanently as a FWD.

If he found himself another goal us owners would've been looking at 130+.

The worry is if he doesn't get up next week with the concussion discussion, but word out of FRE today sounded much more positive than the what was being thrown around by Damien Barrett yesterday, but even that I feel was just more of a headline grabber for his little puff piece 5 min video he's been doing each week.

Almost first option if I can't get Gawn or Grundy.

Or believe it or not Witts.

but Hunter will be a downgrade trade

Meek - > premium ruck Round 7 has always been the plan
Bailey Williams will be back soon, not cheap, but could be an option.

Going blind on Fantasia > Waterman. Highmore looks good enough to field, and with Clark/Fyfe it opens up loophole options. Bergman > Warner was always a likely move.
Sitting on the problem of owning JDG so it creates some bank to either address that up, or go down and start working towards Gawn.

Need some suggestions.

If I do Scott > Jordan (pretty much locked), then I don't have enough to do Bergman > Impey which was my likely second trade.

Is Logan McDonald a decent option if Bergman is dropped?

Alternatives are to do Scott > Jordon and then Taranto > Impey, but that feels like going backwards a "premium" even if Taranto hasn't looked that premium.

Alternative 2 is to do Bergman > Jordon, and then I will have enough to do Duggan > Mills/Stewart, but won't know if Bergman is dropped before the dogs game so if he is named i can't trade out Scott for Jordon

Who is doing 2 perfect downgrades and 1 perfect upgrade by Round 6 to bring him in though ?

If his scoring hasn't improved you wouldn't be bringing him in.
Won't be that hard as so many people started a Clarke, Fantasia, Impey, Daniher, Dow, Young ect. That extra 100-150k plus a little bank could really help bridge that gap so it's a 1 up 1 down if Neale gets to 580k or lower.

Agree no one is going to bring him in unless he has a game where he looks like the old Neale and get 35 touches.

So I not traded I bit iffy on trading corrective cripps and doch a maybe if I will be short on trades late in season as I will be 2 down and same amount of premium .
I would hold Doch, he isn't injured and is scoring ok. Guys playing injured/must have rookies must be your main focus of correcting.

I am really regretting not starting Atkins and Hind, very interested to see how they go this weekend.
I think they are great value for money but are two players you probably can't trade into. You either started them or not. If you did start any of them, an 80-90 type ave is very acceptable and you either keep at F6 all year depending of fwd premo scores or you make the absolute last upgrades. Make you some cash too.

It was one of the major moves I was considering in the days leading up to R1, packing my team full of newly well scoring defenders. Well done to anyone who started either, early days but I think you saved good money over guys like Phillips and will score just as well or better.

I have all main good rookies except Impey who is over 200k but in my book not much worth it as I be trading in then out thats 2 trades.
