Won't be that hard as so many people started a Clarke, Fantasia, Impey, Daniher, Dow, Young ect. That extra 100-150k plus a little bank could really help bridge that gap so it's a 1 up 1 down if Neale gets to 580k or lower.

Agree no one is going to bring him in unless he has a game where he looks like the old Neale and get 35 touches.
Which is completely different to what I mentioned.

Even for those players you mentioned you would need them to have hit $ 350k , be very surprised if they are even remotely close

350-125 = 225 profit
350+225 profit = 575 (Neale)

I tend to not focus too much on precise numbers as at the end of the day you are usually factoring assumptions as well.
Neale might fall further. A rookie might do better than expected. Another unforeseen trade may leave you with an extra 100k.
Plan as much as you can but trust that variables will always wreck your day ;)

Could very well be that Gulden & Neale swap each other in price.

3 upgrades to midfield premiums is a long way down on my list at the moment , certainly be interesting to monitor Neale's performance and price though

I will likely use the Neale money to upgrade my rucks, Hunter>Grundy next week while I have that coin, will never have a 700k bank again.
If Neale drops 150k and Dunkley goes large for VC and Grundy is a top 2 ruck I will probably call ditching Neale the right move for me with hindsight.
Here's to a wishin'

Sounds like a good plan

What everyone’s thought on Andrew Brayshaw. Do yous think he will be a top 8 mid fielder this year.
Back your gut. He looks fine, one of the better young players. Won't be far off top 8 if he keeps playing like he has in rounds 1 and 2.

Still so undecided. Trading Caldwell, do I:

Use my 130k bank and go up to Butters?

Go down to Impey, Atkins... Tex?

All thoughts and opinions welcomed!
It sucks to have missed Butters big 160 but the forwards are so underwhelming thus far besides Dusty, Dunks and possibly Danger when he gets up that I think Butters is still an option before his price rise, could do a lot worse. If you need cash or have a bunch of deadwood on the bench then a grab a money maker and make em shake it!

Hard to say if he'll be a top 8 midfielder come season end but his performances so far have been incredibly encouraging. What I've also noticed in comparison to last year is that his TOG has increased + Fyfe has been playing more FWD ( only saw the GWS game - could mean a change of guards??). While he's probably not going to continue averaging 130, I feel like something 106+ is very possible as a floor.

Interesting question, is Jordon a 'must have'?
I think so, unless he gets dropped in the next 2-3 weeks he is going to produce big coin for bottom dollar.
Get @Ben's Beasts to write you up a contract where as one of the local Melbourne player experts he guarantees Jordon making it to round 6 or your money back plus a free trade.

As soon as Harmes went down, I think Jordon became fairly important as an SC pick. He’s scoring so well for a rookie and his JS looks pretty damn good to me.

He is due for an off game at some stage but hopefully an off game for him is a 50 instead of a score in the 20’s or less that we’ve got so far from Rowe, Brockman, Bergman, Scott etc.

Depends on your structure. I have 3 rookies on field, so to be honest he will probably spend more time on the bench than on field. I could probably miss him, but he looks like he'll make 150K or so for me which is what I want from my bench.

Thanks for that gents. The 1% thought of 'nah don't worry about bringing him in' has now passed. Just a matter waiting for some more teams tonight to confirm who will make way for him.
