As soon as Harmes went down, I think Jordon became fairly important as an SC pick. He’s scoring so well for a rookie and his JS looks pretty damn good to me.

He is due for an off game at some stage but hopefully an off game for him is a 50 instead of a score in the 20’s or less that we’ve got so far from Rowe, Brockman, Bergman, Scott etc.
i missed both Jordon and Rowe, Jordon definitely coming in, not sold on Rowe, thinking Impey can average 80+ and generate as much cash as Rowe with higher JS, any thoughts

Did a "holding" trade last night of Sharp to Waterman via DPP due to lack of cash ITB and hoping that the trade loop works.

Have to finalise before going to work (who works Good Friday) this afternoon as I will be benching Berry and Rowe.

Also need to assume, which I really hate doing especially with rookies, that Bruhn is dropped (has anything come from GWS?).

Waterman and Bruhn to JordOn and Warner.

Sorry for tagging on to this question, but just taking it a step further, is it worth trading out Scott now for Jordon, as Scott is the only real option I have? Unless Danger goes .
I'm keeping Scott for now mainly as I would prefer to move on someone who is dropped. Hence waiting for team selections tonight and if all of my team survive then will sacrifice Jones as his 5 last week makes him a slow cash burn.

Probably go with your gut, but I would probably make the trade.

Traded Neale to Dunkley last night and still have a trade left.
Is it wrong to have $240K sitting in the bank?
Thinking of trading Scott to Impey or just hold?

Trade Sharp for me, not playing and has a 20 in his score. Scott cheaper, playing, guaranteed to go up in price this week. Both players at risk of being slow burners, always prefer to back in the playing one. Sharp's age works against him too. I wouldn't hesitate to trade, this is the only week you get some much choice. Wouldn't force the trade if not needed, more rookies coming in round 5 on the bubble, expect Scott may be gone by then.

Edit: Sharp locked out (thanks to others for pointing this out), Dow to Impey. Looks to be on average 15-20 better than Dow with high ceiling spike. Keeps the cash to roll into next week, depending how Phillips go, trade him to Dusty our push Dunks forward and grab a midfielder.

Sharp is locked out so he wont be able to do Sharp to Impey.

Hey legend, the rest of my team is as follows:

DEF: Laird, Ridley, Stewart, Daniel, Cox, Highmore (Kosi, Sharp)
MID: Oliver, Macrae, Merrett, Fyfe, Walsh, Powell, Gulden, Campbell (Jordon, Brockman, McNeil)
RUCK: Gawn, Grundy (Flynn)
FWD: Phillips, Caldwell, Ziebell, Daniher, Warner, Rowe (Jones, Scott)
If you have 2 trades remaining:
Out: J Caldwell and H Jones/J McNeil
In: J Impey and T Walker
Rowe moves to the bench
Tex as a quick cash grab and can be used to grab a premium down back quickly via your numerous dpp links (eg J Lloyd, etc) and remaining salary.

Trading loop doesn't seem to be working for me.

Guess I have to keep Waterman if I want JordOn for Bruhn.

Not a total disaster unless Waterman not named although Ess have said he will play (I think) and if he was named round 1 I would have had him in.

Interested in getting both Jordan and Impey - happy to trade Jones to one but with Scott and McNeil both playing is it worth holding both and trading Dow? As a definite trade I will do Jones to Jordan via Dow. Is Impey worth trading Dow for? Would I be better off using Scott? Should I miss Impey?

Any thoughts appreciated.

I wouldn't trade Dow, as you might have either McNeil &/or Scott unavailable next week, who knows what Bevo's thinking. Do you really need Impey? I don't think he's a must have, would like to see him string a couple of consistent scores before forking out $200k.

Seeing how the backs are scoring this year, a fit Impey playing his current team role but sitting in the SC forward line does have some appeal especially at his current price and before he potentially strings a couple more good scores together.
He could actually be a better selection than Tex and potential game changer in the forward line, but yes does come with a little risk, but after his preseason well...

Without trying to pin you down Professor, it sounds like you're fairly confident that Dow will not get dropped and continue getting games, is that correct?
