Because this option locks in 4 trades, 2 now plus 2 in the future, while Lloyd & Chapman is only 3. Sideways trading now means you will end up short of 22 premiums come seasons end.
Also I'm holding off rushing to get Lloyd in for both DT and AF (own him in SC). The Swans new game style isn't really lending itself to Lloyd having massive games. Not only reduced kick-ins but less round the back cheapies and switching across the flanks with the Swans playing a more direct brand of footy.
In fact the Doctor Supercoach crew had a whole segment on today's podcast advising their listeners to wait on Lloyd as they believe he could have a 70pt game in him that would see him plunge below $600K. It's just not the same old Swans nor the same old Lloyd, although others may disagree. It's just an opinion's business after all and so far he has scored well enough for his top pricing.
