Yeah I think Parks job security is good. We are also 2-0 with him which doesn't hurt. I can't see Williamson getting in for him in the next 3-4 rounds at least.

Agreed I can see Parks being a good pick but not jumping on him myself. Would be a good choice for the small amount of teams running two rookie DEFS on the field.

I have noticed previously that some players’ (in game) performance changes after they get reported.

Some seem to fire up and go harder, others seem to fret about it and perform worse. Danger and Merrett seem to come to mind after being reported early in a game.

Yeah, it was late in the first quarter. Was on about 12 pts at the time... fair to say he didn't look interested thereafter. I'd say your theory carries some weight.

Worth noting that he wasn't reported and the general consensus was it was a bad call by the umpire at the time and should have been holding the ball (a view I still hold but I hate that rule...).

Just had a bad game in a game that didn't suit him and bad conditions. It happens.
