I suspect most are willing to wait and see what his role is / how he scores after a round 1 score of 92 and BE of 152.

Having said that, did I see that he was in less than 1% of the top 5,000 teams?? If so, it's not a bad roll of the dice POD. Playing at Kardinia v the Roos certainly provides the opportunity
I am 1 of 50 with him. Not sure I like a POD like everyone else, anxiety goes up. Playing North is handy, bottom 8 side, so think his job security is ok. Go Danger!

Both should average similar for mine which means take the cheaper one... but Steele the lower BE is also a case if you think you can take advantage of getting Oliver cheaper and believe, like I do, that both are must haves.

Do have a feeling Steele is going to get a tag soon, too important and too good to not see how he handles it.
The voice of reason :( lol - you may guess I was hoping to justify Steele but you're right - more risk than I need to take.

I've never owned Stringer but this looks like it could be the year it really works out for his fantasy owners assuming he stays relatively healthy from here, or at least to his bye. That sub $300K price tag is very enticing given both his role and form right now. Kind of the antithesis to Caleb Daniel atm. :ROFLMAO:

An 86 against the Swans is more than acceptable vs an opponent that is very stingy in granting decent fantasy scores. He could be the next in a lengthening line of midpricers to go crazy this season and everyone starts jumping on next week should a juicy tonne be incoming at the Gabba.

Daniher is exactly 1K less expensive so just 1K and a trade is mightily tempting. I should probably bring Waterman in instead for one of my many spud bench rookies BUT?? :devilish:

Yes. He is tempting and he has form. (Hopefully good form, not injured on 2 points type of form).
He looks okay for the price and could be if you have a bit of cash and cash growth to redistribute. I'm thinking about him as i reckon optimal cash generation might be a bit harder this year.

When your POD is Danger... I think that's a pretty damn good position to be in!

Do it then :) I love Steele, so nearly started him before ballsing it all up instead (my favourite past time it seems!). There is a very good case for taking the lower BE guy if you think you'll be able to take advantage of the Oliver price drop also and firmly believe this is as cheap as we see Steele (it's possible).

Id only trade Campbell if you're using the cash but I'm not sure I'd get Lloyd yet, probably bottoms out at 550k with a average game and every cent counts this year, Bowes is in ripping form and still cheap and I dont think Stewart will be much cheaper than this all year and is as consistent as they come, rather go down that path than pay up 620K for a defender, wouldn't go near Rich but each to their own on that one.

While CJ has been awesome for me Im not sure I can condone paying nearly 400K for him, good luck with whatever decision you make.
Campbell BE comes down in round 6 when his 29 rolls off. More predictable than some other rookies still and another 50-60 then all it takes one big score.

Defence looks ok for now, bring in Jones on bench and you should be able to sit on it for a while. Lloyd kick outs fell away as Dawson took them. Did I see Dawson injured. 95, Lloyd going to fall.

My view is take an extra trade and get a midfielder in like Steele or Olivier.

I get the move Daniel on desire and dont have a strong view. Do you have Clarke you can move back for Daniel?

All depends on how many trades you have used. If a lot, then Jiath stacks if you hold him as a kepper and can live with a 70 and a few 100’s.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I have used three trades so far. No Clark. Much to ponder.

2k off Daniel > Mills
Quite deflating tbh.
It's irrational and doesn't factor into the actual decision, but I just hate opening up the app and seeing Daniel in there.
Went him over Mills for 'safety', his effort on the weekend was utterly shameful.

have read a few things such as 4-6 depending on how recovery goes but prob right. Just not this week.
been reading more and Daniel needs to go as he isn’t going to average 95+ from here and settled on
Degoey - waterman
Daniels - bowes (almost thinking CJ for extra cash)

Leaves me 450k (550k with CJ) for protetinal double next upweek (Oliver and maybe dunk let)
Think the 4-6 was the scenario with no surgery, and now it's either going to be 8-10 or 10-12, but could be wrong.

Why do you need him ? He is only averaging 92.

In all seriousness though with Atkins , Hind , Impey , Walker , Ziebell & Warner a lot of people will need to field Dangerfield , Dunkley , Martin , Zorko (maybe) in the mids.

Sidebottom could be under $ 450k soon.

Will we still need Marshall ?

How do you fit them all in ?

Those that held Dangerfield might have a very nice POD.
geez i hope so, seemed like an eternity watching, tex, imp, jiath and assorted midpricers go off.

Holding Kelly and Daniel and not thinking even considering trading them. Really regret trading Fyfe a few weeks ago (For Brayshaw) and thats the last premium I will be trading (excluding injury)
man, love your cojones, really hard to see daniel coming good. feel, williams, dale cutting his lunch and link man JJ is making it worse.

do not give up on JD. capable of 120+ out of nowhere and quick jump to 400k. cannot see reason to trade JD to stringer as you are still on the same bus careening down the mountain out of control.

So this will be after chapmans price rise, or am l on another planet? Seen lots of posts re. bringing him in.
Wasn't that ment to be the previous weekend?
Point being you've missed his biggest price rise ($60k).

Wavering on Caleb. Not sure if I should hold or trade. Defense is deep with Jiath D6. Mid premos underperforming (Neale Zerrett Jelly) so I was looking to inject another stud in there.

Caleb>Steele or Macrae
Daniher>Waterman

For some clarity on the effects of the above trade:

-Chapman(D7) would replace Caleb
-Steele/Macrae replace a rookie mid
-Waterman replaced Daniher
-8 rookies on the ground instead of 7
(Chapman Gulden Powell Berry Warner
Campbell Waterman Rowe)

Hold or trade? Thoughts?

Yes this is after his rise.

If he gives me 5 weeks of 75's he ill make 150K. I think that he can do that. I actually think he might average 80

Everyone else is bringing in Waterman. If he produces 5 weeks of 60 he will generate 160K. I think he will average less than that.

Daniel and Phillips to:
Hickey and Steele, 5k left in kitty
OR
Gawn and Jones/Waterman, approx 150k left in kitty

5 deep in defence with Impey at F4, Walsh M5, Flynn and Meek.

Will have used 8 trades and basically just shuffled my team around, lol.

Back to trading Daniel. Daniel was peetty entrenched in my side pre-season, so its strange to see him go!

Daniel to Oliver
Jordon to Waterman

Daniel and Jordon scored a good 40 points between them on field last week, so I dont think I have a lot to lose by the trade.
