Parish is getting mid-minutes because of injuries, super-skilled but he's too small IMO. Compare him and Oliver, who went in consecutive picks in their draft. Running joke in our family (of Bombers fans) is to call him "Baby Hands", which is exactly what he has, and it will become much more obvious during the coming winter months. There are a number of players for Supercoach I would pick over him about the same price. Good big man beats a good little man and all that.
Yeah, I really want Parish to get there, but he's just not quite. He's very important for us though. Is wasted as a forward, when he can get the inside ball in the middle.

. I am thinking that Daniher will go big against Essendon.
Just curious what makes you think this? Joe hasn't set the world on fire. He's been serviceable, but Hipwood gets it more and McStay may return.
Acknowledge the "play the ole team". but I feel I've missed a trick by selecting him over Impey, so am going to correct that this week (and in the hope that Impey is an F5/6 keeper)

All I know is if he doesn't fire against his old side... almost certain to go for me next week. Sick of his putrid scoring and regret starting over Impey.

Really unsure what to do with trades this round.
Initially i was only planning the one trade of either Campbell or Jordon to Waterman and bank the cash for next week to bring in a premo def or mid.

Now with the news of Meek dropped and possibly Flynn not coming back in & obtaining the $$$ from the 1st trade, is Meek to Hickey a smart or reasonable trade? It would allow me to get to Grundy or Nic Nat for example in the near future as i went with Gawn, Flynn & Meek as my rucks.

Currently sitting at 193 overall so it's a pretty important decision. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Congrats on the rank with rookie R2 strategy!

If Flynn plays the next three at his current average would you be happy to have his points wasted at R3?

I suspect having him on field as a low cost high point scoring rookie has served you very well to date and you’d be giving up this advantage over the Grawndy crowd.

Treacy for Meek buys yourself another week to access what GWS plan to do with Mummy (just don’t expect much on field point from him). Marshall should back next week which is then a cover option for Flynn if Mummy is going to hang about.

Not sure Hickey represents a guaranteed upgrade for onfield points on Flynn if both are playing.

Tough choices being at the pointy end of rankings. :)

Would it be possible for you to post your side and remaining salary pre trades to further help us with any recommendations?

Cheers Yasi, yes tough choices indeed, thank you very much for your input. Good luck for the round & rest of the season.

Think I’ll cope the Flynn donut. Dow to Bergman or Waterman (leaning towards Bergman)

And

Daniel to Macrae

Yes, no problem. Here is my current team, pre-trades for this round. View attachment 28732
Like your Hickey option considering the recent team developments and should be the safer move (donut avoidance) going forward.

An alternative could be
Out: L Meek and K Briggs
In: J Treacy and A Waterman
Treacy is fielded at R2 this round (assuming he retains his spot)

Next round
Out: J Clark and E Gulden
In: L Jones and B Grundy (via fwd mid premium and Treacy)

S Martin experiment finally over and an utter failure.

Out: S Martin
In: J Treacy

In for another poor round with Flynn missing again, holding both Sloane and Daniel, with Kosi as the current replacement to avoid a def donut unless I trade him to Chapman.
