Also, can someone tell me if I'm trading Jelly or not, what was the general consensus?
I think it's too late personally. We only have the first 5 rounds to clean up our teams with sideways swaps.

Now that upgrade season has started, you just fall behind those that are bringing in an additional premium this week.

Jones' injury actually really works for me. Means I can do the Treacy trade at least who I value as a DPP floater and also for some super low end cash generation potential if he can stick the landing this week.
Decision whether to make a 2nd trade is the only real question for mine.
I’m also happy I don’t have to miss out on Treacy in favour of Jones this round. He provides flexibility when it comes time to trade out Flynn.
I have been tossing up trading in Treacy too and I'm leaning not to, because cash generation is a problem and Treacy looks like a low scorer and with poor job security.
Mansell, the same low price as Treacy, is expected to make more money then Treacy, which seems the best way to go for me.

This is true on face value, but I do remember reading about a similar move a couple of years ago from the winner of SC that year. If you're playing leagues fine, but if you're up around the pointy end and wantting to be aggressive I see no issues around it, you'll never die wondering.
I’ve been hovering around 9th-30th all year and don’t wanna cop a donut and fall

A fit premium with a 90 base (you won’t find many other players with a season low of 90 or more) and he’s become a trade out target.

Yes it’s not the role any of us expected and the big scores do look allusive, but I think i need to see the 70’s before trading out fit quality, despite the role.

I also think that against the Dogs mids they’ll want his quality closer to the action but admit this is not a view supported by evidence to date.

First off, congratulations on a great start!

A couple of things to consider though:
It's a marathon, not a sprint! No use trading aggressively and being top 10 in round 10-15, only to fall away by the end.
The value of the trade and results need to be considered over the whole season, not just for this week and next.

Usually the most successful teams will trade hard early when needed to correct essential rookies/whatever and then again during the byes to 'slingshot' and gain an extra premium score or two. The rest of the year should be spent strategically upgrading and managing the team as best you can. Bringing in or starting with a positive POD is a good one too, though this is a lot more difficult than it seems!

It would have been multiple 70s if it weren't late game goals in the last two weeks. He's not going to kick the sealer and the winning goal every week.

I prefer Treacy over Mansell because Treacy can eventually hide at R3 as a DPP swing option when Flynn is ready to trade out. Unfortunately, Mansell is stuck in Defence where bench cover is already questionable.

Who do you downgrade Flynn to if you don't get Treacy now? I don't own Fullarton anymore, so my trade out options are extremely limited. Jordon Sweet or Nick Bryan could be an option possibly, but neither are DPP.

My main concern is whether I am able to carry a Waterman & Treacy forward bench (with Rowe F6 currently) for the next 4-5 weeks until Flynn is ready to trade out (best case assuming no more Mumford interruptions).

Seriously considering a defender to replace Clark - even though i am still very tempted to keep Clark and trade Gulden for the d/m link with Laird.

Current defenders are Ridley Laird Ryan Lloyd Short

Which other defenders should be considered? Probably most i'd pay for is Stewart.

Includes a 160 though , need to make adjustments for that.

Possibly been benefitting with Sloane out as well.

Won't be long before the opposition put time in him , his kicking skills are actually ultra elite.
