Chapman scored 86 and 91 in rd 2 and 3, definitely good enough to play on field.
I’m saying it may pan out from here not that differently to Mansell. Chapman has had a 42 and a 54 along with the bigger scores. The suggestion I was responding to was that Chapman D6 is ok but Mansell isn’t. Who knows, these are rookies.

Unless you see a better option on the immediate horizon, I find it kind of hard to see a better option than Treacy for that pick. He's playing, could make genuine cash with a decent game and is rock bottom priced with DPP. As far as a guy who ends up deadwood, he's the perfect option at a position that is often deadwood.
Yeah, that is what attracts me to Treacy. But since I'm putting cash generation first, then from my readings on this site, Mansell looks more likely to make more money than Treacy. Later, F/R Shannon Neale $117,300, can take Flynn's place when he maxes out and still have a link to F/R Marshall in the Fwd line.
If Treacy doesn't make enough money, and then replaces Flynn, then his cash generation is of no use.

Dev Robertson on the bubble, anyone tempted?
I wish I hadn't brought him in after his first game. I didn't expect he would make it back so soon after getting dropped after a poor second game, he's just as likely to drop back out of the team as quick. Not wanting to put anyone off who wants to trade him in, I know there's not a lot of downgrade options, but not sure he's the right one. At least he's playing again...

Trades for me this week: Clark and Bailey to Oliver and Mansell. This will give me a D4-6 of Chapman, Kosi, Mansell for this week - looks awful, but it's hopefully only for one round: Ridley back plus planned trades should strengthen my team next round.

Trades done
Clark Taranto

Lloyd mcreery

Need Warner and gulden to play really well this week so I can get to Oliver next week, think I’m buggered though and may have to get Neale instead. The backline has officially broken me this year and getting the gull makes me a little happier now even though he’s gonna drop big dollars

Fk you Clark fk you Chris scott fk you highmore 😂 this rolling teams absolutely sucks

Yeah Jarrod Berry probably back next week is the danger. Of the emergencies Thomas Berry hasn't shown much IMO, Matho is old news I can't see him breaking in. Sharp could well be given another chance at some point.

I actually like Dev's chances at getting a fair chunk of games over the season, maybe not all at once. I really rated him as a junior and definitely has scoring ability.

Could do worse I reckon, I'm certainly tempted.

Josh Kelly to Brodie Grundy via Treacy - is that sideways? Should I wait for Grundy to drop more? I just can't stand seeing Kelly lol.

How many games do we think Mansell plays, 4 or more is probably a win.

Out of him and Treacy to come in for Berry or Campbell.

Mansell might make more cash but Treacy allows me to trade Flynn directly out to other lines in the future.

Think mansell sticks around for us for at least the next month (4 games)
Fits the style of game we play
And has held Fantasia and butler pretty quiet the last two weeks

Best case for mine is he's in the side until Vlastuin is back which is 2-4, basically a window of no good to could make some decent cash. I can't see any scenario where he pushes Short or Houli out and it's a glimmering pipe dream he'd push Baker out. So really you're needing an injury to one of them or another setback to Vlastuin to hold his spot more than probably 3 weeks

Worst case he has a bad game and you've got Ralphsmith and Egg are right there waiting for a chance with a few other guys also capable of slotting back there if they want.

For mine Mansell is that textbook example of worth the gamble if you're dodging a donut but I struggle to see much of a case for him outside that. Which based on how my season has gone means he's probably about to average 100 from here
