For those looking at May this week, I would strongly encourage you to check your bye situation first.

He has the round 14 bye - Adelaide/Collingwood/St Kilda/Sydney/Freo/ Melbourne

So all of these popular premiums will be on the bye :-

Laird/Tex/Grundy/Steele/Marshall/Lloyd/Mills/Fyfe/Ryan/Brayshaw/Gawn/Oliver/Petracca

Think I am going to wait for Whitfield to bottom out in price instead as GWS share the bye with North/GoldCoast/Port/Hawks/Cats - teams that I don't have many players with, better for my team balance.
Hmmmmm... Good point but I guess if you are struggling to finish your team you just have to get them at the cheap price

Looking for some opinions for the suggested trades below.

Currently have 300k and only 22 trades left.

Option A:
Out: Chapman & Rowe
In: Frederick & Walsh

Worth paying very high for Walsh even if he does look the goods so far? Problem is it would leave me with only 55k or so in the bank. Upgrades next week would be harder.

Option B:
Out: Chapman & Rowe
In: Frederick & J.Kelly

Option C:
Trading out Gulden instead of Rowe to free up more cash. Could trade in another premo I haven't considered above but don't know who.

Aiming to get Steele and Dusty in the coming weeks.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

Chapman - > Frederick
Gulden - > May via Laird

then pump the $$$ into F4-F6 at the appropriate time

Titch is finding the ball but not getting the same contested or tackle numbers, probably an after effect from the shoulder reconstruction. Pendles and Oliver both started their seasons poorly following shoulder reconstructions and both picked up halfway through the year. At his price point I don't think I can go too wrong.

So it will be Gulden > Titch and Chapman to Frederick.

Andy Brayshaw is another to consider but I personally prefer Titch due to his high floor, upside and proven history. Also has the better bye.

Never ever thought it would come to this , but have found the man to revitalise , rejuvenate , refresh and reunite my enthusiasm for the rest of the season.

That man is Jake Stringer 😀

Fantasia - > Stringer
Gulden - > May via Laird

rookie downgrade next week then pump $$$ into JordOn , Powell & Warner at the right time

I'm back 🤗🤗🤗

D6 is Mansell , F6 is McCreery but who cares the other 20 will do the job.

Stringer is so much fun to watch.
Was impressed with him yesterday , even managed to abuse the umpires a few times without giving away a 50.

124 , 86 , 27 , 84 , 92

take away the highest & lowest and he is averaging 87.33 which is excellent for $ 325k , suits my budget and team

Gives me more Bank to play with and additional look at Kelly & Mitchell , have Cripps , so don't really want to lock in a 100ppg this early regardless if price.

Might be a few $ 550k 110+ ppg options in the horizon with a bit of patience

@Lgndhen23 were you looking at Stringer last week ?

With Highmore dominating in the VFL on the weekend, is anyone considering bringing him in ahead of Frederick if named this week?
Given he has been out so long and was not even going that bad when he was dropped, it would be a big call to bring him in even if named.

I'm still holding him, but not much.
Frawley returned to action as well after the hamstring injury, preseason he was shaping as being a best 22 player it seemed.

Not ideal, but hopefully Highmore can somehow wrangle a game or two soon.

Going Chapman to Frederick and Rowe to Jackson this week. Got to have a punt on a midpricer in the 4wd line as will struggle to complete my team this year and thats the line to do it in.

Really like his role, doesn't need to kick goals to score, 2 tons in a row, takes the ruck when Gawn rests. Fingers crossed

Campell on the bench, Gulden still stuck on the field

Is it too late to trade Campell? or should I trade Gulden instead?

Is Chapman injured? Busy weekend so haven't kept up to date but think I remember someone said he hurt his shoulder?
