Ok...
This is to everyone but
@Herbie66 I'm shouting you out since you seem to be the biggest FOR Stringer I've seen so far
So this round my trades are looking Chapman/Gulden - May/Stringer + $10k left in the bank
or
It could be Chapman/Rowe - May/Fred or another rookie
(-Only reason i would look at someone other than May with his great BE is Daniel and the Bye but he needs to prove himself first to me-)
What's the consensus?
After this round, I have 21/22 trades left...
The interesting thing is Stringer is becoming a preferred trade in option on others sites I visit , although not that popular here.
I am very cash strapped so for someone who costs $ 325k with scores of 124 , 86 , 27 , 84 , 92 he is averaging 82.6 (not much less than Kropenyeri-Pickett , Hind , Atkins types) he might serve a purpose , doubt he is a season long keeper but he could be a stepping stone to Dangerfield if necessary.
I just need to weigh up the balance of my forward line currently with Impey , Martin , Ziebell & Zorko (in my mids).
Warner to Marshall is the plan.
F6 is McCreery with Rowe & Fullarton on my bench.
So either leaves 1 or 2 spots to fill.
Doing the sums during the week I may end up with both Laird & Zorko permanently in my mids.
Yours and others balance maybe completely different so Stringer might not suit your team.
Brown , de Goey , Heeney and possibly Petty are cheaper alternatives next week that could do a similar job.
Hall will be getting more and more mentions (amazingly he plays less games every season than Heeney but looks like a ride many are prepared to take).
Daniel & May definitely look the value options in defence this round , Ridley will be about $ 500k next week , Houston could drop to $ 425k or wait for Whitfield.
Lots of different options , just need to workout what best suits your team not only for the current round but in the next 2-3 rounds as well.
If you still have 21-22 trades left after this round you are doing very well.
