I went early on RCD and I'd like to keep Warner vs the Roos so likely just 1 trade down to Poulter...... probably Berry or Scott

If Murphy from Collingwood plays i might also trade fantasia down to him, and look to bring in Mills or Lloyd the week after for Kosi

If Murphy doesn't get up I might have to bite the bullet and trade Highmore out Ridley in or cop a donut in DEF. Will use my other trade to go Gulden to Poulter/RCD. Byes looking scary with no adequate bench cover in Def

Berry out for Poulter. What a disappointment Berry has been, a wasted trade on the R3 bubble.

Unsure about the other trade, if enough cash then maybe Powell to Shai Bolton.

Depends on performances today but H Edwards (WCE) and C Poulter (Coll) could potentially replace J Koschitzke, A Scott or S Berry to help fund upgrades to the likes of J Ridley, T Mitchell and D Zorko/R Marshall in the lead up to the byes.

Berry or Clark to Poulter as 1st trade. Seriously considering upgrade to Jelly for 2nd trade. Can move bolton to fwd and farrar to bench. Leaves Warner and Dev at F5/6.

Is it too early for Jelly. Are we convinced they will continue with him around the ball. He looked great yesterday.

Harry Edwards (WCE) DEF $123,900 is another, scored 61 last round.
Zero interest on this one. Just playing while Barrass and McGovern are out, no chance of holding either of them out of the side for mine.

Hall's gotta be the most shameful pick this year. High scoring, great role, but had a groin issue a few weeks ago and the poster boy for unfulfilled talent and inconsistency. Is his scoring worth the risk? Shouldnt be too hard to be injury free when he's never within 10 metres of another player. This pick can go shove it and it better not work!
Got any more on that groin injury?

Know he had the concussion a couple of weeks ago but hadn't heard anything on the groin (also hadn't looked for it!).

His role is terrific though, I'm genuinely looking like I might have an entire forward line of defenders in SC!

Who to though? They have the worst roster in the entire league by some margin.
That never stopped his coaches at the Suns, and although he could be classed as experienced now, Hall's a terrible player to have setting an example for a rebuilding list. If he's in form he doesn't do the hard stuff and doesn't defend, if he's out of form he disappears or turns it over constantly.

I'm fully on the Hall is a terrible player thing as much for what he doesn't do, but that role in a team that needs to get the ball out of there I think he can actually make something of it.

The HB role is unquestionably the easiest role in football right now, you have a clear and obvious "stop this guy" mission and then no pressure on you when you've got it, no real rotations or covering and no real defensive running. In a weird way it covers up all of his weaknesses.

Totally agree he could get injured and/or dropped but at this point... look at the forwards

Just forget the name "Aaron Hall" for a moment: a player has had 23, 33, 33 and 37 disposals this season in the full games he's played, has a good bye, an extremely friendly role, is priced ~ $420 k and plays in a problematic area for Supercoach. You think that player is not at least worth considering for team inclusion?

It's mostly all about the role and the situation, and only a little bit about the player. Hence the reason Ziebell and Impey look to be top 6 forwards this season, and why, for example, Darcy Moore looks like Supercoach elite when he has a role change, like he did yesterday.

I will note that the winning DFS lineup on Draftstars yesterday (for over $7k) had the North/Pies game stack and I think that will continue (ie, whoever North are playing plus Hall/Ziebell) while the prices of those North players are as low as they are relative to their output. Yesterday's winner had Hall, players like Maynard, Moore, DeGoey etc to claim the top prize.

It seems inconceivable to me that they'd drop Hall, he's one of their few winners. Yes, he could have a role change but we'll deal with that if and when it presents itself. The injury thing does bear more scrutiny but at the moment he looks like a gift horse some are going to look at in the mouth of because of his name.
