Kosi > RCD or Poulter just trying to work out who has the best JS and potential.

Then I’ll go gulden > Mitchell or Jelly I think

I put Hall more in the Stringer category. His role and form are irrelevant, it will almost certainly go wrong at some point. You can't take the name out of it unless you're unfamiliar with Hall's history. Plenty have been mystified as to why Hall was regularly dropped over the years, but there's no mystery to it. He's a gigantic front runner who's never changed the way he plays and never put the team first.

Noble's no mug, it shouldn't take him long to get there.
The role and form ARE relevant though, that's the point. Ziebell and Impey are top 5 FWDs this season because of their role and their form/ability to play it. Role and form very much pertinent to their scoring and the same for Hall.

I'm not saying Hall is a knock-it-out-of-the-park selection, because he has genuine warts. My biggest concern is his durability at his age and also the Roos might well change things given how poor they currently are, but I'll cross those bridges if we actually get to them. Its not as if we are genuinely awash with quality picks in the forward line this season, pretty much all forwards have concerns over them.

Hmm, i was actually thinking of bringing in Daniel :unsure:
Just my 2cents but I would advise against it unless you're going for value pick ups. One of my biggest mistakes this year was starting Daniel instead of T.Stewart (who was like 8k cheaper!!!). Unfortunately for me, I don't think I'll be able to get Stewart in now.
With Daniel this year it feels as if he scores a large chunk of his points in small patches. Other times, it's a massive struggle and he just runs around doing absolutely nothing (19-point game vs. Brisbane). Another thing to note is his role might not be as secure/stable as it was the last couple of years. Today was a perfect example. He was randomly chosen to "tag" Saad at forward half and was only on 35 points at 3-quarter time. Beveridge finally came to his senses and moved him back to his usual position in the last quarter. Alas, he went crazy and scored 65 points in the quarter to reach an unlikely ton. Doubt he'll be able to do that every week if his role keeps getting changed during games. Good thing is the Dogs mounted a solid comeback when he moved back to his normal role whereas they were losing by 20 odd points whilst he was "tagging". Hopefully Beveridge doesn't tamper with this but who knows with him!

Not saying you shouldn't bring him in, if it fits in well with your BYE structure and team completion then go for it but it's probably a good idea to first consider alternative options who may slightly be more expensive but definitely would have a more secure role with more scoring avenues.

The post below describes Daniel perfectly so far this year...

Why do you do this to yourself every week?

It's like you're trying to find mistakes!
Just posed a question.

76 & 93

not all of us can bring in $ 500k premiums with every upgrade.

Thought maybe he is benefitting from no Berry & Neale , didn't watch their game , FanFooty mentioned Robertson was running with Fyfe early.

Buyers remorse already here with Sidebottom. Looks so far off a premium score it isnt funny.

I’d agree. If you look up his heat map it’s very similar (role) to what Luke McDonald was doing last year - he’s priced at 413k and quite frankly, looks in form (take out the **** scores)

Q to self: would you pay $413k for someone that could be 85% (or more) of what Ziebell has been this season, in the position that we are all struggling to find premiums

Pro 1: no FWD premiums/must haves
Pro 2: priced at $413k
Pro 3: recent form good
Pro 4: a stable role in a position that the ball has been in regularly (North’s backline)
Pro 5: a role change doing wonders for Ziebell (as a defender lol)
Con 1: Durability
Con 2: Awkward price range, trading in to be a keeper
Con 3: ??

Personally I’m looking at him (for Tex) but I’m currently trying to figure out the R12 bye (for me personally). I just don’t know if he’ll be sub 500k past byes (BE of 30, projected +30k with a 100 score)

I have some interest... lol ... but I also have interest in Harmes... lolx2

Went DCB early last week, maybe Poulter and Harmes at this stage... not sure for who yet, likely Kosi and maybe Guilden

Need Thursday teams to be a thing this week again.

Likely Mitchell and Poulter I suppose

On 2nd thought, to continue the momentum I plan to do 1 up - 1 down for the next 2 weeks, which requires me to sacrifice about $35k of value. Although my team value is currently close to $12,130,000 at the moment, which means cash generation has been okay for me??

With that in mind, if you had to forsake one of RCD and Poulter, which would it be?

Not sure what to do with trades this week.

Berry > Poulter is one that I'll probably do. Would also allow Warner > Hall.

I probably should pull the trigger, leaves me with 6 rookies to upgrade but only 15 trades.

Reckon I'm gonna go:
Warner to Poulter
Chapman to Hawkins (via DPP)
Leaves me with Jordon, Bergman, Powell and Scott/Poulter to upgrade (plus Hind, Jiath and Cripps lel). 14 trades left after that upgrade. Eeek!

Need to move Duggan on, so will probably grab Ridley.

Duggan > Ridley
Berry > Poulter/RCD

Only leaves $55k ITB tho. Would have liked to trade Kosi, but no Def rookies in sight. Hopefully won't lose too much value.

Those hunting bargains, anyone see the Hawthorn match? Does Hartley have any JS? 102 and 86 for a 94.0 average after 2 games. 317k. But was missing between Rd 4 and Rd 8, Highmore style.

If he has job security and is taking the kickouts then he might suit someone?
