Those hunting bargains, anyone see the Hawthorn match? Does Hartley have any JS? 102 and 86 for a 94.0 average after 2 games. 317k. But was missing between Rd 4 and Rd 8, Highmore style.

If he has job security and is taking the kickouts then he might suit someone?
No security at all. Had a decent game and then was dropped. Do not go there

No chance Im holding Tex, will lose 100k yet.
Yep he's definitely out for me. Thinking of going poulter and Mitchell.

Mitchell's bye round is the issue though.

Other problem is who I trade for poulter. Kozi? Or Flynn... Trading kozi makes the most sense... But trading Flynn lets me have poulter starting instead of McCreery.

If Flynn isnt picked next week ill seriously look at taking the cash, lot of the top echelon already have and its basically put them an upgrade ahead.

Time to get Titch I think, likely go Campbell-Poulter and Tex-Mitchell.

Berry becomes Titch for me next week, not the greatest price rise out of a rookie but still have Jordon, Powell, Bergman, Scott and now McNeil going to make some nice cash for the next few weeks. Really reluctant to give up on Rowe after an 81 but seems like the best candidate to become Poulter. Hoping Waterman gets back in to the Bombers side with Stringer set to be out for a few weeks.

I can actually see all of Waterman, Brockman, Flynn and even Highmore getting a gig next week. Happy days if that actually happens.

Not sure whether to do 1 upgrade & 1 downgrade or just 2 downgrades this week. 20 trades remaining with 55k in bank.

Gonna carefully take a look at the rookies in my team.

Def:
Murphy (L.Jones, Highmore)

Mids:
Powell, Jordon, A.Scott, (McNeil, Gulden, Sharp)

Rucks:
(Flynn)

Fwds:
Warner, Bergman, Jones (McCreery, Brockman)

Powell and Jordon have been the best rookies so definitely holding for now. Holding Flynn until the BYES unless I'm desperate for cash.
The cash gen is still going for Scott, McNeil, Bergman & Jones so have to hold!

Could go Gulden & Warner to RCD & Poulter. Or Gulden & Warner to RCD & and any player up to 540k.

@Darkie, @Herbie66, @XabiFernando
Hey lads, reckon Poulter is a must have? His heat map shows he was mainly playing a role in the defensive half at the weekend. Does he have strong enough JS to play until the BYES? If I bring him in I would have 3 Collingwood rookies in my team but worried he'll get dropped when Howe comes back.
Also worried McCreery might get dropped before he's made enough $$$ to warrant a trade out (similar to Brockman just sitting on my bench).

What do we think

BROCKMAN -> POULTER
KOZZIE -> HALL

leaves

mansell (fyfe, highmore)

powell, jordon (poulter, mcneil, rcd)

scott (bergman, macrae)

defense this week would be the only problem

What has become clear is that I don't have enough rookies.

I have 11 now, with cash for potentially a double upgrade to cheap faux-premos.

And that's my entire problem. I get sucked into I can get 2 rookies off field if I go Hall and Cameron, and I just end up with all of these underperformers, no good cash gen (as I've traded out the rookies who had made cash) and cash losses from the faux premos when they inevitably revert to mean.

Every year.

And I know it's wrong, but it's so boring to just play by the numbers!

I really think Brockman plays this week, but I guess we'll see.

Warner is the one for me on the chopping block, but you just know a spike game or two is coming. He's struggled to keep the possession count up vs elite midfields (unsurprisingly given he's a rookie) but has a fantastic draw up until their bye. Still getting a lot of mid time.

Not sure, maybe:
Warner > Poulter
Berry > RCD

But doesn't feel optimal somehow, Warner ideally one you'd run a touch longer
A double down makes sense in my case. Already have Ridley, RCD and Poulter seem decent. Might go Steele next week.
