Just posed a question.

76 & 93

not all of us can bring in $ 500k premiums with every upgrade.

Thought maybe he is benefitting from no Berry & Neale , didn't watch their game , FanFooty mentioned Robertson was running with Fyfe early.
You seem like me regarding Supercoach Herb, trying to be too clever, when we are not!
Always searching for that game changer, that diamond in the rough trade every bloody week when at the end of the day we should have just taken the easiest, obvious, high percentage play that every man and his dog could see and took.

Those holes just keep getting deeper lol.

Best in for the rest of the year

Steele/Lyons or Guthrie?
Not worries about the byes
Just want the best mid from here on in
Guthrie will be good until Dangers back then take a hit.
Lyons should still be good once Neale's back.
Steele hasn't been as good since Crouch & Jones started doing more heavy lifting in the St's midfield from what I can tell ( could be wrong here)

I wanted Lyons 2 weeks ago, just haven't been able to make it happen. He would be my choice.

Highmore, Brockman, Sharp, Flynn, Fullarton and Waterman still in my team.

Will be reviewing these closely to maximise warm bodies during the byes.

Sharp and Fullarton seem the most unlikely to play.
Agree it’s a problem but Sharp useful linked with Laird, and Fullarton goes to R3 when Flynn goes.

Probably easier just to hit the delete team button to be honest.

Can't generate enough cash for premiums to upgrade so not much point.

Need to replace Kosi and complete my backline. Have enough coin to go to Rich but just short of both Lloyd and Mills which would be my preference. I could delay Kosi trade a week and go Gulden and Warner to Lloyd but means moving Laird to the mids for a week or just go to Rich this week.

Thoughts.

So, is anyone keeping the Texan ?
Is he playing with an injury or is it a case of other teams have worked out his style of play.

The gut says to trade him but it stu*** up my plans.
I'd be happy with 75's - 80's from him at the moment to focus on trades in other areas.
He started the season so well and now thrown in two absolute stinkers. Will it continue ?

Can't fault Rich's scoring this year but just have a nagging feeling he'll fall away / get injured at some point. Lloyd or Mills are the safer picks. At 4%, Rich is a nice POD but as I've said before there are a lot of options in that upper bracket in DEF this year (Stewart, Mills, Laird, Lloyd, Ridley, Bowes and those knocking on the door - Short, Crisp, May and possibly Whitfield) so he's not going to give you massive points upside as a POD.

Don't know about injury, but seems to be carrying something, if I did not have to trade Duggan and Chapman last week he would have been gone.

I think the problem is he has been no where near the 75-80 the last two weeks. I'm abit in 2 minds, ideally he would be traded, but I need to get rookies off-field too.

If no other issues present themselves this week and L Ryan is back this week (he was supposedly close last week, but who knows), I will probably move him on as I think this is the last week one can do so, or you nearly have to ride him out given he will probably lose another 40-50k this week. Through some DPP magic, I could go to Ridley in one trade which seems more reliable, but will need to assess the teams this week before making a final call.

Hang in there mate. I have used more trades by this point than in any other year including my first! it's been brutal.
Finally got Grundy & Gawn in (up from rookie rucks)
Trade ins of Parish and Mitchell have been good. Hopefully things turning a corner for me. I just have to value shop for the rest of the year and probably hold a few 2-5 week injuries that will occur as I have well and truly used my injury trades+ lol!
