Holding vs trading Bolton?
I've kept Dangerfield and got burnt, have kept Cripps and been burnt, kept Taranto and he's coming good...

19 trades before this week and am aiming for a top 1k finish. Just inside the top-10k at the moment.

Either I trade him for Impey to improve my bye structure, or I shove him to the bench and bring in a mid premium this week (Cripps at M5 is hurting).

Option 1:
Bolton & Gulden --> Impey and Poulter (300k itb)

Option 2:
Kosi & Gulden --> Bowes and Poulter (better for byes, but def finished without Ridley/Lloyd) 42k itb
Kosi & Gulden --> Ridley and Poulter (worse bye structure, better finished def) 40k itb

Option 3:
Gulden & Powell --> mid prem and Poulter.
*Considering Mitchell/JKelly/Duncan for byes or otherwise Lyons who I think is the best I can afford.

Any thoughts or alternative ideas will be much appreciated.
Kosi & Gulden --> Ridley and Poulter (worse bye structure, better finished def) 40k itb.

^ I would def do the above. Kosi to Ridley is a huge upgrade, team is looking good.

I'd def be trying to hold Bolton if you can afford to given the lack of solid forward premiums.

Like everyone else I'm totally at a loss as to who to trade out here? Would like to grab at least one of RCD/Poulter, maybe even both.

Another really tough week at the trade table.

Something you might consider is Brockman > Poulter and Gulden > Harmes (Laird to MIDs) but I'd be leaning hold at this point.

That DEF line must fill you with joy

Rowan Marshall. Not for this week but potentially next week.

Looking at stats looked like he shared hit outs with Paddy. Does anyone know if this was a similar situation through Rowan's glory years, or was he the no.1 ruck back then?

Ryder only joined the saints last year. Marshall's glory year was in 2019 when he became the no.1 ruck.

Even with all the injuries at the Tigers?
Yeah, I guess he probably keeps his spot now that Bolton (2-3) and Edwards (4-6) are both out. Prestia listed as 1-2 and Cotch 2-4. Just didn't like his game on Fri night and reckon he's gone once 2-3 of that group come back.

I dont think Warner is that much of an upgrade on Scott or Bergman on form, hard to justify sitting on a rookie over 300k unless they are flying IMHO, definitely been hurt by the Rowbottom return and Rampe back allowing Mills to stay in the guts, 5 game average of 66 nothing to really write home about.

I think it's reasonable to replace him with a premium or Poulter if you're trading him - should maintain onfield score or near enough.

What are people's views on Ryan Byrnes? I already have RCD so a double down would be Poulter and him. Rd 14 bye is ideal if he gets games but I have no idea on his JS. Anybody got any insight?

Copping a donut in the back line this week.

Gulden to Poulter is one trade that I've decided to do.

Not sure which way to go for the second trade.
Warner to RCD?
Bergman to RCD?
Bergman to any premo up to 450k? Or Warner to any premo up to 545k? Who?!

What are your backline upgrade options, any chance to upgrade there to save a donut.

Warner is the out.

Bergman BE of 7 and been scoring better than Warner since coming back.

Probably have to know more about your team to know whether you should get RCD or a premo. Do you already have Lachie Jones? He is just about the only possible option next week so if you already have him then a double-down is the obvious move. Probably the best move regardless.

If going a premo it'd be one of Tom Mitchell, Jordan Ridley, Josh Kelly, Rory Laird, Caleb Daniel, Dustin Martin or Rowan Marshall, listed in my order of preference.

Unfortunately not. Stuck with L.Jones and Highmore on the bench. Brought in Murphy last week. I would need to trade one of these guys out to save a donut but feel like that's a waste of trade especially if Murphy is coming back next week.

Got Titch, Ridley, Laird & Daniel. Will consider Jelly but kinda worried he'll get shifted forward again.
Posted my team below as reference.

Bit risky but I think in your shoes I would get a premo. Flynn to Treacy or other R/F donut works for you as the down next week, and Brockman, Murphy and Jones all look close to being back so your bench hopefully won't look as bad as most in a week or two.

Kelly's worth the risk IMHO, but if you don't want him I'd get a forward. Save that last DEF spot for a cheap Whitfield in a few weeks.

Maybe Marshall this week and Dusty next. Or if you want to wait for Marshall to drop, could do Sidebottom this week.

I am interested in a response to this too...!

Wood goes out for Ross but I’m not sure if Long or Kent might push him out
