I think you'll find scribbles on the wall of a night club are a more reliable source than his imagination.

It's the pure laziness of WA so must go there. Ignoring that the one area the Eagles are fine is slow inside midfielders who can't play anywhere else. Pretty set for injury prone guys there as well to be fair.

Would make WAY more sense at Fremantle where they could use a long term replacement for Mundy to protect their crop of excellent but undersized midfielders in Cerra, Brayshaw and Serong.

I would be gutted if my club even sniffed in Cripps direction. Just like why bring Sheil back and move Parish out. Parish plays the role better than Sheil already. I cannot see why we even considered Caldwell, except he is a step up on Dev!

Being a head coach is an interesting gig. It doesn't matter how smart you are or how well trained. And there is no one way to be a head coach but I think you need a bit of x factor. Hawthorn made Sam Mitchell captain but the players gravitated towards Luke Hodge instead.
A lot of very good assistant coaches had trouble getting the head coach sign sticking to their office door.
As long as you have the smartest assistant coaches an AFL head coach just has to be able to manage a group of young men.

Yeah. The assistant coaches are make or break for a head coach, I agree.

Just a crack up - the whole interview. “I’ve been very patient...” to end with, I want Mitchell, was very funny.
