Thank you Liam Ryan for your admirable performance in my grand final side covering for Buddy.

Also thank you Goldy for your efforts through the second half of the year and this week in trying to minimise the damage of not owning Grundy.

Follow the Roos.
Tipped the Roos.
Went to the game last night with my wife who follows the Hawks.
Own Worpel as a POD in my main money league in a KO final.
Reversed trade of Answerth to Birchall 5 mins before game start.
Own Sicily (can’t have it all)

This is such an under utilised thread...;)

I had a same game multi consisting of...
NTH to win 1-39
HAW/NTH HT/FT
Brown 4+ goals
Ziebell 2+ goals
Wood 2+ goals
Higgins 30+ disposals (ended on 28 :()
Damn! Got the hard ones up, and missed the "easy" one.
Unlucky! Higgins started so slow!

I always have ample material for the rant thread however the SC gods have truly thrown me a bone this week.

In the 2 leagues where I am still alive in major finals I thought I needed to roll the dice on a POD captain to give myself a chance so went with Bont rather than locking in Grundy’s 123 (which I would generally do). Note that I had to decide before WC (Bines) played.

That decision cost me 33 points and it looked like both league victories after all my other Sunday PODs scored pretty well including Tom Lynch and Heath Shaw who both started very slowly.

However superstars Worpel and Witts (who I brought in for ROB last week) combine for a total of 261 to get up in one league by 25 and in the other by 3 (which is a money league) after a late flurry and significant scaling from the aforementioned pair.

Playing PC in a long term league. Bouch, Mouch, Hawkins put me well behind the 8-ball.

Move the C to Dunkley one minute before the game (from Macrae) and was enough to get the win.

PC traded in Dunkley this round - never seen someone swear when a player they traded in scored 165 :)

Thank you Jarrod. I was in quandary 3 weeks ago when ROB got dropped and I needed an affordable ruckman when I couldn’t afford the big boys (Gawn or Goldy). You have given me 119, 119 and 152 and the advantage in one GF matchup (v Goldy) and at least some hope in another (v Gawn).

Exactly. He’s been a good contributor for those who couldn’t afford Grundy or Gawn as a ruck replacement. Nice and durable too, even soldiered through an injury scare.

I’ve had a great year after a disappointing start.

SCS Rep, SCS Old Farts, SCS 1000 Plus premier.
SCS Premier League, SCS Shakenbake runner up.
Rank 1,250.

SCS RDT Guns, SCS Year of the DT Pig premier
Rank 990.

Thanks to all of you here who contribute, from those who offer so much, to a ‘like’.

Thank you hangover swim recovery. During which, I decided to not be greedy and chase points with Gawn this week. VC Grundy and C Waterman

For those who did get greedy though, I feel for you - and I salute you as I hurdle over you and pick up over 5000 places to break into the top 5000 this year.

Yeehaw!!!!
I forgot about this thread. Thankyou Leon the destroyer for dropping Flynn so I had no choice but to bring in Grundy and vc him while Gawn the mozzie zapper drew everyong in with his exceptionally bright light.
