In that case you were always going to be stuck because the scores usually take anything up to an hour to be finalised even when the scoring isn't lagging the way it has been lately.
I think it's been more manageable where there are just corrections of 1-4 pts or so (which has been the case for a number of years). In the past few rounds, we've seen variation of 15-20 pts most games, Steele last night had a +50 scaling swing....

10/797 no captain

Hopefully Zorks carries on and Cumming and Scott do well tonight and Macrae (to a less important extent) to get my week back on track.

Yeah the dropouts and lag in scoring has been a bit nuts and is probably triggering widespread borderline manic-depression amongst coaches in SC as player scoring looks like it's on a roller coaster.

Very true, but normally it is only a hundred or so points and you have a good idea of the score. But now it is anywhere from 500 to 800 points each game so you have no idea.

True but at least you know it's not gonna be 15~30 points difference.
Every little point counts for rookies and I reckon a 5 point diff would be easier to swallow than 15.
It's been that way for a while now though so we have to adjust a little I guess. Hopefully there wont be that much difference between Scott's and Poulter's scoring today.

Short memory we have been shafted all year, check the free kick count, manner of fact check the last ten years and then come back to me
The Hawks do get the least frees of any team historically, but it is interesting when people say they get a good run from the umps - the numbers don't back it up any time in the last 15-20 years or so. Haven't won the frees very often, and when they have, not by more than 15 or so across the season in that time.

Not complaining, I know the Hawks have not always been the cleanest team historically, but there are some teams that do always seem to get a good run of things looking at those numbers.

Tell you what, if you get aesthetic points for how easy you make a hanger look, that Gardiner mark might be ahead of all the others we've seen so far!

Gee Clug was the one to get on... has gone nuts the last 5 weeks.

Had him in my sights to start but didn't and after 68-86-88-103 in the first four rounds looked like the right call.

But he's made fools of us all since then with no Neale, banging away at nearly 130.
