SHAKE AND BAKE
Round 10 will be a ladder shaping round.

In a dream fixture, we have another top of the table clash with the YRA hosting the Timelords at Elland Road. Will we have a new leader or will the YRA keep their top dog status?

The Knights 8th hope to dampen the run of the Rangers 5th when they meet under the sea at Neptune Park and kick start their second half of the season.

At the Battle Ground, the Stingers, coming off a weekly top score, are looking to make it two in a row against the Cremes in a 7th versus 6th clash.

Pride is on the line in the bottom of the table clash at the Eclipse. There's a bad moon arising for either The Darkness or the Giants.

In the final match of the round things could get real sticky for the reigning premiers as they travel the intergalactic skies to play the Immortals at the Quagmire in a 3rd versus 4th clash. They'll want to avoid losing more distance to the ladder leader whilst the Immortals are looking to make a statement to the league.

Game on Timelords..

The YRA finally see Friday Night Football.. welcome to a cold and wintery Elland Road.

(Had to adjust the team to ensure the preview has me in front - let it be known the preview is now 2039!)
Challenge accepted ... I’ve just adjusted my team so it’s further behind - 1987!

I have a cunning plan up my sleeve - I am not quite sure what it is yet, but I am sure it will be a good one

Anyhow, good luck!

TEAM SUBMISSION
With the advent of the AFL reverting to naming teams on Thursday Night, SCS Ulitmate League will revert back to normal submission of teams with Friday Night Full Lockout.

Team Submission
  • Teams are submitted via the Team Submission Google Sheet, this document is sent out in the days leading up to the next round.
  • Coaches are to submit their team prior to the start of the first AFL game of the round. This is a Full SCS Ultimate League Lockout.
  • For irregular AFL Rounds (e.g. Thursday Night Games), a Rolling Lockout will be in place to assist coaches with team selection.
  • The Rolling Lockout is purely for clarity on AFL Team Selections. Not for VC/C or EMG Loophole purposes.
  • The League Administrator will lock relevant player cells on the Team Submission document, allowing changes to be made for players not yet locked out up until the Full Lockout is scheduled for that round.

Captain & Vice Captain
  • Teams are to select a Captain and Vice Captain for each SCS Ultimate League fixture, by allocating the 'C' and 'VC' to a selected player.
  • The player selected as Captain will score double points for that round.
  • The player selected as Vice Captain will score double points for that round, should the selected Captain not play.
  • Should the player selected as Captain fail to play more than 50% TOG, the Vice Captain score will be taken.

Emergencies
  • Each round a team must select 4 Emergencies, these players can be of any position.
  • Teams must nominate a position(s) for each emergency selected.
  • Players who have dual position eligibility may be nominated as dual position or single position. e.g. M-F can be nominated as M only, F only or M-F
  • For an Emergency to replace a non-playing player on field, they must have the corresponding positional category. i.e If Forward misses there must be a player with an Forward (dual or single) designation in order to be covered.
  • In the case where two or more Emergencies have the same positional category, the Emergency with the lower score for that round will be counted as the replacement score for the team.

Big Sunday ahead!

Think you may just have me, end to end stuff, every time one time fires a shot the other goes Bang!

Shiels late out cooked me yesterday. Late changes after teams named kills

We are certainly having a shootout! I got lucky with a dream run night last night delivering 6+C / 927 from the two games. That must have been my cunning plan! :geek:

I am sure Sunday will see us both start to tighten our defences up. Whilst my nose is in front now, there are quite a few volatile scorers to come, so certainly still anyone’s game. Good luck.

Playing one down will finish me I suspect!

Not the week for full lockout to come in for me haha

Great contest so far, let it continue today!

I'm confused. You've named two mids who are on the injury list. Do you have a healthy mid on your list who should have been named for coverage?

Could have used DPP.

However, don’t set up that way as can change throughout weekend.

Now we can’t, might have to assess this closer.

For future reference, Tyler shouldn’t be on my list anymore. Traded him (hence I didn’t put him emergency)

Great win @Diabolical too good this week!

Nothing I could have done to turn the tables.

Look forward to another crack later in the season
Thanks @lappinitup

It seems I had one of those weeks where most things clicked. Even though I have knocked you off both times this year, I actually think on average you have me covered, so you might get your revenge when it really counts if we meet again.

SIR DOUG NICHOLLS ROUNDS

The AFL's annual round recognising and celebrating First Nations players and culture is named in honour of Sir Doug Nicholls.

Sir Doug, who epitomised the spirit of reconciliation, played 54 games for Fitzroy and was a brilliant all-round athlete. The first Aboriginal person to be knighted, he also served as Governor of South Australia and was devoted to the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Sir Doug Nicholls Round will again celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and contribution to Australian Football, with this year's celebration spanning across both rounds 11 and 12.

SCS Ultimate League will again be celebrating the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders by wearing specially designed jumpers. With the new addition of our 2021 jumpers, teams will now have a home and away jumper to coincide with the dual round celebration.

SCSUL Media will release the new jumpers over the next few days, and acknowledge last years creations, in current ladder order.
