Open to any and all suggestions.

Also keen for feedback on a couple of options I've thought of.

Option 1: Scott and McNeil > Treacy and Steele (via Dusty).

Maintains 'upgrade cadence' also think Steele could go big against North so it's a good week to jump on.

Option 2: Atkins and Scott > Heeney and Weightman (or Treacy, slightly better for bye structure).

Helps my forward line in the first bye and moves on Atkins who looks like a bust. I have no problems with upgrading around him and keeping him until final/luxury upgrade.

Does Warner + McNeil/Scott/Atkins (in that order for mine) get you Steele + Weightman? Gets you a clean premo upgrade and maintains onfield rookie scoring capability.

Round 11:

Atkins and Scott > Heeney and Weightman

287k CIB

Round 12:

Cumming/McNeil > 2 x MID SEASON DRAFTEES (102k?)

773k CIB

Round 13:

Flynn/Waterman/Highmore > Reeves/Duncan/Whitfield

272k CIB

Round 14:

Poulter/Warner > Neale/Rookie

148k CIB

Round 15:

Weightman > Danger

Loose change left in the bank.

Final team:

D: Mills, Whitfield, Laird, Stewart, Ridley, May
M: Oliver, Macrae, Walsh, Fyfe, Neale, Merrett, Duncan, Titch
R: Gawn, Grundy
F: Danger, Dusty, Zorko, JZ, Impey, Heeney

3 trades remaining.

Thoughts on this team? A lot has to go right for this to work out and quality of cover will depend a lot on who comes through the mid-season draft. 3 trades is not ideal but I'm prepared to live on the edge a bit.

Love the plan mate and fingers crossed it works out for you

However with 3 trades left to navigate 9 rounds, unfortunately you are odds on to be eating multiple donuts before the years out

Current cash: $180,300

Rd 11 trades:
Out: Scott and Jordon
In: Weightman and Madden (Dusty and Poulter to mids)
Remaining cash: $458,500

Rd 12 trades:
N/A
Estimated 21 players on field

Rd 13 trades:
Out: RCD (260.6k), Weightman (259k), and Madden (218.4k)
In: Boak (536.1k), Gray (408.7k), and a Mid/Fwd rookie w/- rd 12 bye ($123.9k)
Remaining cash: $127,800
Estimated 19 players on field

Rd 14 trades:
Out: Poulter (307.4k), Highmore ($247.1k), and Murray ($223.8k)
In: Selwood (532.3k), and 2 Mid/Def rookies (either or, have Sharp and AFyfe still) w/- rd 12/13 byes ($123.9k each)
Remaining cash: $126,000
Estimated 18 players on field

Rd 15 trades:
Out: Farrar ($275k) and Jones ($247k)
In: Fwd Rookie ($123.9k) and Whitfield ($489.7k)
Remaining cash: $34,400
Trades left for year: 3

Team @ rd 15 (first 22)
Lloyd, Laird, Ridley, Stewart, Whitfield, Short
Macrae, Oliver, Bont, Mitchell, Boak, Petracca, Selwood, Cripps
Gawn, Grundy
Ziebell, Dusty, Gray, Heeney, Buddy, Daniher

Thoughts:
Gets to prem/near-prem of first 22 by end of rd 15, and means I can field a full team (i.e. 18) throughout the byes (assuming current players playing keep playing, and Highmore and Farrar are back this week, as afl.com.au has them); but bringing in Madden and Weightman for just two price rises before trading them out seems unintuitive. Alternative could be to go one-up, one-down this week (i.e. Boak and Madden), but then I would be looking for 2 downgrades in both rd's 13 and 14, and that may be hard to find.

Feedback welcomed

Great team. You would be hoping May can match or beat Lloyd on the run home.

I prefer Steele over Duncan too personally in that price range.

You would also want decent cover with Heeney at D6.

Warner and McNeil does. That's food for thought. Hadn't looked at that combination yet as I was going to hold Warner until his bye. Thanks!

Id love to know how anyone paying 650K for Bont or Lyons expects to complete a side.
I can almost certainly afford to do it, I'm just not sure it's worth it and I've had a pretty ordinary season as far as burning trades and less than ideal starting structure/picks go.

Of course the caveat is that I have Merrett, Taranto and Kelly as my M6/7/8 that I'm calling premiums at this point so even though I end up with Bont/Lyons (for example), I'm still carrying some sub premium guys as opposed to already having the Bont/Lyons types and finishing off with that lower tier of guys.

I still don't think I'll target them though, probably will go for Danger, who if he can average 110 is going to be 20 points of an advantage, while I think a Petracca/Steele type could well be within 5ppg of Bont/Lyons/Oliver types over the rest of the season. Hard part is getting the right value plays.

Taking value is actually really important, Cerra could be the better pick than Bont for a lot of teams this week because the 250k is an entire upgrade elsewhere. Getting a rookie back off the field and a mid rookie quite probably has more value right now than getting a bigger jump on that one rookie and may actually position you to instead "sideways" into Bont later.

Does anyone have insight on Blicavs/Geelong set up?
Is he taking the 1st Ruck responsibilities?
34 hitouts last week, 119sc points. 85 v Saints and 98 v Richmond.
Where is Stanley?
Has a good bye and D/M. Never seems to throw in terrible scores, although 2 50s this year and is durable.
Would be a super pod, but for teams like mine, which is low on trades and will need value picks, he could be an option at $429,600 to swing with Laird/FDs.

Rucking against Grundy this week, I'd be waiting at least a week.
Another one of those lower tier type keeper players if trades/cash don't allow for the big guns.

If you look at the week just gone Ratugolea had double the Cba's 20 to 10. I think he attended a few as a midfielder.
