Just spend up, do not go down the endless trade path, it's death by a thousand cuts.

You need to get Gawn and Grundy, asap, it was a fun experiment but the ass has fallen out and sticking some used duct tape over the top of it isn't fixing it.

If Flynn isn't named I don't even need to think about it, I'm getting Gawn from Dunkley. If he's named, I'm simply doing it next week and grabbing an extra rookie this week!

Makes complete sense , but then I look at my bench (3 playing last round) and then still needing 8 upgrades onfield I might be just better off going for complete value right away.

Get Gawn & Grundy and I can see myself very likely stuck with a non playing D6 , Berry/McNeil at M8 & Rowe/McCreery at F6.

Season is destroyed now , interest is waning so might just experiment.

They at least get actual ruckmen with the value.

Targeting two, and I say this as probably Phillips' biggest fan, bad players who are holding the fort for a month is the definition of kicking the can down the road.

Draper is listed as 4 weeks away and Hickey is at 5 and the second they're fit they're replacing Phillips (who is old but serviceable) and Sinclair who is utterly terrible and just managed 109 rucking against a guy who wouldn't ruck for your local amateur side and almost certainly did more to help the Suns win with his hitouts than he did for Sydney.

If you're hunting value it's got to be a ROB and, of all things, Mumford (handcuffed to Flynn) type of play. Or at least a Lycett (with Ladhams seemingly on the outer), Nankervis, Stanley or Darcy type of play. Even Goldy and pray for a resurrection from him.

Forgot all about Draper.

Was keen on ROB preseason , but might have a look at Nankervis and see what the rest of my side looks like and what options open up.

Curious to see how Marshall goes with Ryder back.
