Could I get the thoughts from some people on whether there is any real benefit, when choosing a keeper at the start of the season, in having someone who scores 95, 105, 85, 105, 95, 110, 85, 120, 90 (average 98 ish) as opposed to someone who scores 85, 130, 125, 75, 85, 140, 70, 70, 110 (average 98 ish). Do we feel that a consistent scorer is more beneficial or if we are using them as a keeper for the season we are really just wanting them to play 22 games and get their 100 point average by the end of the season???
I am looking at this in a FWD / BACK context where if I can pick a D4 or F4 to avg 100 over the course of the year I will be stoked - but just wondering if there is downside in selecting someone with more volatility (on the assumption that they do end up scoring the same amount of cumulative points)
???
