I'm enjoying we're at the stage of the season where I can check in on a Tuesday and only have a page of thread to read!

Daniher my last remaining problem, 5 trades left but it'll take 2 to fix. Can either take a marshall/De goey type this week or wait on dunkley. Should finish top 2 in both my cash leagues

I’ve got to trade out cj. I have 2 trades, no cash, no cover and no swaps to defence. So my best options are bowes, redman or rampe. Some advice would be good. Thanks

Whitfield out with only Bianco for cover... can hold I guess.
Langford probably out with only CCJ for cover - does he play or is he still out?

I could get away with one trade of CCJ down to M/F to allow Dev Rob to cover Langford, which also builds some bank.

But only leaves two trades remaining for another 6 games which is dicey.

1 trade, no underwear and nothing on the bench for help either. What could possibly go wrong. Whitfield? Langford? Dusty finally let us know his foot is still sore and affecting his game? Going to be a miracle to hold on to my ranking. Think I will have to be happy with trying to maintain 1-2k rank. Top1K looks gone:cry::cry: Reeves, Reeves, Reeves it is all coming back to haunt me.

Will Dunkley take you down to 2 or 3 trades? trying to assess how aggressive or not league players will be.

I can get there with 3 to go. for a mate it will be 2 which feels tight.

Just tested, I'll need 3. A lot of trades to use on one player but it feels like a 50 point advantage weekly which could be the difference in a league match up

My first thought was ‘Butcher! Who’s Butcher?’ So a bit slow this morning 😁. However I think the Daniher trade is worth doing - likely to get better value out of it. I’d probably go Marshall and hope he stays good. His TOG seems to be growing and St Kilda have a bit of momentum but Bolton attractive too.
Can't stand Tarantula anymore so the Butcher it is :p
On 2nd thought, I reckon Daniher might be a bigger problem that the Butcher.
Now to just decide on the replacement... Marshall is my preferred choice but his body concerns me

Daniher F6, Butcher M8
3 trades/$56k left and thinking of upgrading either one.
Already have Greene at F5 so ideally would not like another KPF but things are looking bare down forward

1. Daniher > Tom McD or Hawkins or Bolton or Marshall
2. Butcher > Wines or Boak or Parker
3. Save the trade

Thoughts?
Think a few people have said the same already but I think Daniher is the bigger issue with Hipwood going down, unlikely he'll get that ruck time that really helps his scoring. Taranto's been pretty reliably getting low 100s (although being at Ballarat again is probably not a good omen!)

As you say though the cupboard is pretty bare for replacements...

Yeah, thinking if you are doing these trades, Daniher who gives you 50's and may be worse off is the one to go.

Need to be where it makes the most difference. for Taranto, Lyons would be the lowest I would go. Not sure those other choices justify it.

Whitfield and Langford are problems this week, glad I have enough trades to ditch them both but who too...

Send the lion from the Gabbatoir to the abattoir, unless you enjoy paying a premium for tripe to replace your prime cut.

CCJ and Daniher for Ginnivan and Dunkley. Only issue is I now have Highmore at D5 and Bianco D6 who's possibly out this week per Mitch Cleary. So could have a donut in defence. Could change plans and wait a week.

I'm currently ranked 1,200 and might be about to make the dumbest trades of the year. I have 3 trades left and I'm really tempted to trade Whitfield and Langford into Dunkley and Hayden Young leaving me with 1 injury trade in a wild bid to rise fast. Is this worth it or am I being stupid?

2 trades left

Cameron on the pine with Heeney as cover
Whitfield on the pine with Highmore as cover

Very tempted to trade Harmes & Cameron > Neale/Parish & Perkins/Jeka

Would leave as cover:

Def. Highmore
Mid. Bianco
Ruc. 0
Fwd. Treacy & Perkins/Jeka.

Ranked 10k, no hope in leagues.

Will probably hold, just tempted.
