Very solid advice. I am guilty of trying to spread the funds around too much, to the detriment of my side. Lack of midfield options over $9 million means I will start with Fernandes as Maddison and Grealish are the only other players in that price range of any interest.

B Fernandes-
2020-2021: 15 from 37
2019-2020: 16.1 from 14
I lost count how many times Bruno got an 11th hour PK to destroy people. Thankfully, I was always on him.

United have been winning about 10 PKs per season. With Sancho there now, I can't see that decreasing.
They've got too many fast players that know how to draw a foul in the box.

Who benefits most out of Rashford being out? Do you think Fernandes will be impacted?
Maybe Greenwood will benefit. They now have Sancho too, so I doubt they'll miss Rashford. Any of them can play any side in MID or upfront.

Martial can play on the wing too, but he may be used as an impact sub to give Cavani a breather at the end of games.

Then there's the prodigal son, Lingardinho. If he doesn't go on loan again, he'll likely play some part.

Thanks for that, I forgot about Greenwood.
It is definetly hard to predict which recruits will hit the ground running and which will struggle with cohesion for a little bit.
Definitely an interesting competition with the transfer window.
Does keep my on my toes with research, having it open up until the end of the third round.

OK, starting to like this team.

Loads in the bank, but for a reason.
1) Ollie can become Kane in 1 move.
2) Bruno or Buendia can become KDB in one move.
3) Sema can become anyone up to Sancho in one move.
4) Doing the above still leaves enough to bump up Gomez to a 3.9 if there's cash to be made.

I like Alli, but he plays last and has City, so seems too risky.
I like Cantwell and more so Dowell from NOR, but they're both 5.25m and cut out getting KDB or Kane in one move.
I like Sergi Canos from BRE but the extra for him cuts out upgrading Gomez.
Cleverley is probably as good a punt as Sema is, but the gut tells me Sema is the man.

LEI are playing Europa so a LEI GK should allow a decent loop as they will be playing later in most GWs.

The rest I think are template picks.

Lots of great picks this season, but I think fluidity of movement has a greater emphasis.
If some big guns are going ballistic, you want to be able to jump on them with ease.
Missing out could cost the season as capt hauls can be destructive.

Currently we have 10 players the same so i feel like I'm on the right track!

Shudder … I still have nightmares from having 3 Liverpool defenders and Allison when they went down 7-2 to Villa early last year. It completely derailed my season. I am never going with so many players from one team in my back half again!

I don’t mind the Liverpool defensive play, however you are going to know the team sheet so I doubt taking 3 CBs is necessary unless VVD doesn’t get named
Given Gomez is sub 3.9, I feel it's a great hedge in case VVD or Konate get injured. It's not just a one week pick. It could end up long term.
He only has Matip to compete with, so I might not require a transfer should my Pool CB get an injury at a later date.

I also don't think I need to diversify. Not much at that price and although someone at that price will come good, it's a roulette wheel.
Hence why I'm also keeping around 200k spare, in case someone does show good scores, I can use the transfer to make the profit, whilst still having Sancho, KDB or Kane in reach.
