Only 2?!?
So let me get this straight.
If someone accidentally concuses another player, 2 weeks
If someone gets concussed 1-2 weeks(fair enough)
If someone does a forceful tackle (sling) 1-2 weeks or a fine
If someone is pinning another guy to the ground by digging his elbow into his neck and head, which could be extremely dangerous depending on where the pressure was the most, (airway, arteries, etc) and yep, you guessed it 2 weeks?
This system is so messed up
Something so dangerous should be at least 4 weeks

There's a fend - where you use your forearm to brace for contact from the incoming player or to hold them at distance.
Then there's an elbow - where the point of your bent arm directs all the momentum you have at wherever it's targeted: far higher potential to cause harm.
It may have been a reflex action (ie. split second natural motor response), but it was definitely an elbow, hence I think he goes.
It's a hard thing to re-train a reflex if you default to the elbow, but these guys are professional athletes, so get busy practising.

Nothing ****s me more than reporters spouting about duty of care. Where’s your duty of care to provide unbiased news you mongoloid.
Toby Greene is probably one of the worst blokes going around. Decent human beings don’t king hit people outside pubs.
That being said he had every right to defend himself from Danger in that instance. Systems broken if he gets suspended for that.
