With the Robertson injury everything is going down the right now.
I don’t mind someone like Tsimikas opening up, similar to Amartey, but you would want to be confident you are getting a minimum month out of these players because 3 games and 1 price rise isn’t really going to cut it imo
I love Perreira, but he might not be the player he was a few seasons back. I'd prefer to wait 2 games and grab him if he's gonna skyrocket.
If LEI do keep CSes, then I'll be having Amartey on the bench to get me some profit for a flip. I think he'll see 3 games for sure.
Bertrand is good value, but dunno if we'll get a chance to flip him.
Barnes is the man for me. Always improving. Unfortunately, always breaking down too. But so is Maddo (hence he'll be a perfect fit for soft ARS).
I'm having second thoughts about Bachmann too, but that price keeps getting me, and the fact there's always surprise CSes. Just 1 CS in the first 3 games, and he'll get a good flip. They've got 8 good games, so lots of time to hold onto him until he comes good.
Really good assessment of Bachmann. The fact he’s in 1 in 6 teams and the price probably makes him a no brainer decision until he can be switched for a premium option.
Anyone have any opinions on the captains loophole? Or is it better not giving up a cash gen spot?
Luke Shaw KPs were off the chart towards the end of last season. He had a good Euros, and is back participating in the pre-season games.
Of all the players in that price range, he seems to have lots of potential. Means I can take a punt on another cheapo MID, as they have better upside than a cheapo DEF. Only problem is it spreads the cash into DEF, and can be a problem if I want KDB sooner, rather than later.
Aarons might make way for Tsimikas if Robbo is judged out for a month. Might not be long enough to flip, but if he loses his spot, at least there'll be no rush to flip given he won't lose value.
Jota a 1 week punt vs NOR, then he'll be flipped for a City attacker. That 3rd striker spot might be used to rotate for an attacker vs NOR, should they prove to be the whipping boys this season.

3rd string GK from a team playing in Europa League is usually the criteria to pick the loop GK.
Lots of spots to generate cash, so 2nd GK should be utilised to generate pts with a double bite at a capt.
Rotating GKs never works, especially with no crowds during covid. Most CSes were split equally between home & away games.
The cash generated would be so little from one spot, hitting an extra 10pts per week with a 2nd bite is far more valuable.
Yep. You don't know, even if they start, whether they'll be able to perform at 100%.
Could be a blessing to look elsewhere, or could be a Fantasy Gods trap.
They've got me heaps of times. I won't forget Son from early last season. Got me a beauty.
I see nothing wrong with this. Seriously. Won't have to use a transfer.
Guaranteed to have at least 2 starters, and at tightwad Greek prices too. Maresi!

What about Matip though ? You might have 2 x CB's coming on as subs (if at all) so how will they rise enough in $$$ to then be used to upgrade other positions ?
