Sorry if it’s been covered but any news on Walsh availability? Didn’t see the game and fanfooty has him with an ankle tweak? Much appreciated as always.
CARLTON is likely to be without Harry McKay this weekend, but Sam Walsh is expected to be available for selection.

Both players came from the ground in the last quarter of Saturday’s clash with Gold Coast, with McKay landing heavily on his shoulder before Walsh rolled his ankle in the closing seconds.

Director of High Performance Andrew Russell said the expectation was Walsh would be right to go for this weekend’s game with Port Adelaide.

It's not often I would defend the flog that I think Toby Greene is. The beating up of a security bloke outside a Caulfield pub with a few of his mates, because they were refused service, comes to mind. ( He was on crutches from an injury as well) But in the split seconds you have to decide what action to take when about to be tackled, its pretty hard to get it perfect everytime. The automatic thing to do for me is put an arm up to fend off or soften the tackle as much as I can. Called self preservation I think. If you have enough time to think about it and go for the throat or head, then yes absolutely throw the book at him, Fritsch had a bit more time from memory and looked a lot more deliberate about where he was aiming. I think the powers that be forget that it is a body contact sport sometimes.

What’s the go with our favourite seagull Jake Lloyd? I must’ve missed that one. Gotta trade either him or Mills with my last trade to cover a donut in defence. Good times 😂
