Round 4 / Game 2 update (#15):

- PER v HOB @ Blundstone Arena (7.15 pm start)

Notes:
- PER players have another game to play yet so price changes will change yet again because of the DGR !!
- So this is not a "true" reflection yet until the next game is completed ... please don't do any trades based on that teams predictions just yet ..

- PER won the toss and decided to Bat first ...
- HOB used an X Factor player (Meredith out for Thompson)

Are you suggesting trading them out then back in?
I am seriously considering this with Short. Miss the big price drop and possibly gain elsewhere before sneaking him back in for the double.

The trades that currently come to mind are Short > DC then perhaps Nevill > Short with the money I may end up with post Philippe trade in round 6.

Looking ahead at the HOB draw if I had him I'd probably just hold him ...

This is a good point. They’ve played four games - two against Perth (sitting 1st) and two against Sixers (sitting 2nd). It’s all downhill from here, assuming no changes in the strength of each side over the season.

Not the worst option if you want to generate 20k or so and don’t really have another trade to make over the next two rounds. R5 offers an opportunity to reset with no DGRs.

I’ve done sth a bit similar by trading Maxwell out and in over R4-5 so I can afford my desired scorchers. Essentially a wasted trade but still works for me.

I wonder how many times this season you will need to post that Hughes cannot go below 42k
Interesting that on the Foxtel commentary that I watch and listen to .... he has been a strong advocate of not changing a winning team ...

- No X player players etc and just trust the selected players to get the job done ...

I can see why as to me they don't actually need him (no contribution thus far) and a guy like Kerr banging down the door ...

No brainer decision for me ...

- Twice hasn't got a bat as they needed more fire power ... Silk almost the same but his spot isn't in the lime light ...
- Two dropped catches that were sitteres ... albeit he injured a finger earlier in the game ...
