They had a doughnut on the WKP line but could have easily switched Wade and Philippe around before today‘s games to protect against a washout at Co***. Would have given them Renshaw off the bench and another 53 points.

Are you saying when we heard there was going to be a possible washout, this was the preferred set up?

Don’t really see the value in this. People who have poorly planned will get rewarded more so than people who have genuinely been screwed over.

We’ve all had the same information given to us so should have made decisions to cope.

Could definitely see a few higher ranked teams benefiting massively from another extra trade despite some poor planning post the canes/heat double. Just rubs me the wrong way.

I'm normally all for extra trades, but I don't think it's needed. Extra cash would be handy...

Feels an absolute must in to me, the forecast for Round 9 is a worry though.

Yeah agree to some extent but I think one more seems fair. Some may have had Zampa or Stoinis types or traded Maxy out (like me) given the lack of info. Although they may just take the same approach with the Thunder outs and let people just cop it (eg Hales for me!)

I get it. I definitely poorly planned, had kept Stoinis specifically for this DGR

Outed Ellis > Harper, <1min before 2nd lockout waiting on Stars news - I could've dumped him then with the knowledge that many of them were +C19

Last round I personally never needed the extra trade

But I get your point, I'm saying what's good enough for one round, surely is good enough for the next.

Feeling quite relieved with those available Stars players. Held onto Maxy and Clarke. Traded Faridoun but if they are just allowed the three OS players then he won’t play.

Rauf, Qais and Cartwright will be the three I trade in.

Could consider both, but I like the idea of bringing in Munro as the Stars bowling attack looks thin. May also hold Finch for this reason too.

I held Maxwell and actually brought in Stoinis with my 4th trade (for Connolly) before the last game. I could’ve been absolutely stuffed if Maxwell was also out, but I would’ve worn it. I tried to be opportunistic with that 4th trade, so I shouldn’t be rewarded with another this round. Especially since no games are canned.

Agree. And I feel that way about a fair few Stars. Think I will settle at 4, the big 3 bats and 1 bowler, allowing the 3rd trade to be spent on someone I actually want
