Scored 563 to bump me up to 119. Was looking at trading Lynn, Lamichhane and Gilkes to Clarke, Munro/Sangha and a Star, but looking to future rounds I think I’ll need to try hold onto all the double players I can. That would mean trading Bartlett out which is something I planned to do a while ago but he just keeps scoring well so not really sure where to go from here.

When you break down the Stars squad it actually isn’t as bad as it seems.

Stoinis and Burns hadn’t made any runs. Webster barely got a go. Three in-form local cricket batsmen to replace those guys.

Zampa had been quiet by his standards and O’Connell is a decent replacement. NCN is a fair loss, Crone replaces him.

Then the other six from the best XI are available in Maxwell, Clarke, Cartwright, Rauf, Qais and Couch.

Qais has the far more favourable break even and isnt straight off a jet so I'm torn
I wondered about Rauf's readiness, too.
So I looked at how he started his first season here: 2/20 off 4 at 5.0 ER; 5/27 off 4 at 6.75 ER; missed two games; 3/24 off 4 at 6.0 ER.
As he does get two games I reckon that even if he's still settling in in his first he should be better in his second.

I was pretty set on grabbing Abbott but that forecast is looking dire. Looks likely for somewhat of a game Tuesday but then the Thursday game looks incredibly bad. Having scorchers doesn’t seem worth either.
Tuesdays forecast isnt looking too bad now, its the following round that really concerns me.
