Isn't the Score Involvement (SI) metric best used to compare scores in progress during DGR rounds, but not averaging total SI's once the DGR players have played twice?
In this round for example, the SI metric allows us to compare the average SI across the players in our teams against each other before the Melbourne Stars played twice, but as soon as they've played their second game it becomes much less relevant.
At the end of the round everyone will have varying numbers of players having been involved in the score due to different numbers of DGR players, so the average SI metric becomes skewed and not comparable.
Is this how everyone else reads it?

Sick of the commentators going on about how hard done by the Stars are, being forced to continue the comp with reserve players. Whilst I completely agree in sentiment, none of them want to mention that either game was winnable if the senior rostered players had of stood up. Especially against the Scorchers, those “Neville Nobodies” Rogers and Wakim helped Clarke set a great platform for Maxwell and Cartwright and the “superstars” instigated the collapse. Maxwell has always been paper mache under pressure, I knew it in my gut he was going to go out cheaply doing something silly at the MCG
