Maxwell needs to get away from the Stars. So much pressure on him to perform each game.
Needs to go to a new team where he's not the main man all the time and get a fresh start.
I personally think these guys like Maxy, Finch, Lynn will never leave because of their roles in the club, not necessarily as captain's, but the main leaders that are there to bring up the new kids.

Need a new C since VC Maxy shat the bed twice + lost both Clarke and Rogers for their 2nd game FML. Going to pass on Nielson's 44 wk E score and start Duckett instead. Surely this wont end well but desperate times

Bazley v Steketee v Duckett for C ?
IMO, I would put a strike through Duckett.

Bazley based on form is probably the safest play, but probably a 50/50 call.

Trying to get a handle on this new score involvement (si) metric.
For a SGR : si = 11 +1 (for the C)
For a DGR : si = 11 +1 (for the C) + 1 for each DGR player

Am i reading this right?
Yeah that sounds right

Mine is 712/10 13Si (so far)

Maxwell (2)
Cartright (2)
Clarke (1)
Ahmed (2)
Renshaw (1)
Tye (1)
Agar (1)
Gilkes (1)
Khan (1)
Sams (1)
Ur Rahman (C) (2)

13 so far 2 left for Ur Raman, total will be 15, would have been 16, but only 1 of the DGR for Clarke

Isn't the Score Involvement (SI) metric best used to compare scores in progress during DGR rounds, but not averaging total SI's once the DGR players have played twice?

In this round for example, the SI metric allows us to compare the average SI across the players in our teams against each other before the Melbourne Stars played twice, but as soon as they've played their second game it becomes much less relevant.

At the end of the round everyone will have varying numbers of players having been involved in the score due to different numbers of DGR players, so the average SI metric becomes skewed and not comparable.

Is this how everyone else reads it?

Sick of the commentators going on about how hard done by the Stars are, being forced to continue the comp with reserve players. Whilst I completely agree in sentiment, none of them want to mention that either game was winnable if the senior rostered players had of stood up. Especially against the Scorchers, those “Neville Nobodies” Rogers and Wakim helped Clarke set a great platform for Maxwell and Cartwright and the “superstars” instigated the collapse. Maxwell has always been paper mache under pressure, I knew it in my gut he was going to go out cheaply doing something silly at the MCG . The rookie replacements fared admirably and had little to do with the Stars losses
