Agreed on the balanced squad bit, but to get a 0 due to a mid round fixture change is way beyond planning.

Agree and I am referring to going forward so coaches do not find themselves in a similar predicament and to reduce the risk of a possible recurrence.

Tuesday night’s Big Bash game is set to be switched due to fears of multiple positive cases within the Brisbane Heat squad.

Fox Cricket understands the Perth Scorchers — which are already on the Gold Coast — are on standby to face the Sydney Sixers at Metricon Stadium.

The Heat and Sixers are staying at the same resort on the Gold Coast, mixing with the public.

Brisbane arrived in Queensland on Sunday after catching a public flight to Canberra from Hobart and then another one to the Gold Coast.


Though there has been no positive PCR tests, it’s understood there have been positive rapid tests in the Heat setup.

While the club awaits results of those PCR’s, Cricket Australia is working on the possibility of swapping games.

The Scorchers were due to play the Thunder on Wednesday night at Metricon Stadium, which they still could.

It's one thing to shift the Scorchers double mid round but to do it AFTER the Test Squad has shorn us of Marsh and Inglis is taking the mickey. I was planning to load up on them and now I only have Tye!

or

end the round now, and restructure their rounds moving forward/ have a mega round next round

Ending the round now disadvantages owners of Sixers and Heat players, continuing the round advantages owners of multiple Scorchers and disadvantages Heat owners. It's a tough one.

This further emphasises the need to have a balanced spread, minimisation of non playing donuts and to reduce your exposure to a certain side or match for the remainder of the season.

Emphasises how pointless playing a fantasy competition in the middle of a pandemic is thats about it, no way you can plan for any of this rubbish.

This has now been done. Usually one of us LG playing BBLSC is around to action these. Not used to these style of updates though (and trying to fit the update within the character limitations), usually it’s just been surprise injury outs which we try to flag!

My trades last round were shockers haha, traded both Maxwell and Agar out and held off my planned trade of Clarke IN.
