The second version of my side.
Things to note: Swapping my injury risk down back with Sicily coming out and Whitfield going in. That Mid/Def link may be helpful at some stage and I'm tending to develop this side around flexibility. Changes up forward & in the middle coincide with other. Added English up forward for some ruck cover & Taranto comes out for De Goey. The cash saved there gave me the opportunity to grab Whitfield down back. As has been mentioned, De Goey can add 10 ppg onto his average if played on the ball whereas Taranto's score is already maxed out IMO and I feel I can grab him for the same price later on in the season come upgrade time.
Gresham & Coniglio stick for now as they have the potential to hold an F6 spot at season's end (if they last) and for 250k to 300k I'm willing to gamble it. Also, the forward rookies have been quite strong over the last few seasons and if this continues I'll be better supported in making up for their missed scores. If things are going super well (because that always happens ) then a Gresham/Coniglio F7/M9 as cover by season's end would be great. Dunkey in the mids will shift forward later on in the season as I don't like any other mids around his price and he should be the #1 forward come seasons end. Who knows how many games we'll get out of him though?
EDIT: I also think a mid-priced gamble on Gresham/Conigs is better than gambling on a Milera type for the same price as the forwards have a much better scope and history of scoring at somewhere near a keeper level for their respective position.
