Believe the captains are allowed to agree on that sort of thing, which is why you saw Henriques go over to Turner. Think it happened with Lynn a year or two ago as well!

On the other hand.. I feel really bad for whoever was 1st going into the last round, that’s honestly a brutal choke - does anyone know how many points the team was leading by heading into the last round 😵‍💫

For those coaches at the pointy end of the overall ranking, this thread may be of some use as you endeavour to craft your way onward and upwards for the remainder of the season.

Notes:
- Below is a listing of players for the Top 20 teams with non-playing players greyed out and injured players in red text for ease of viewing.
- Also included is total points and points behind the leader for subsequent teams.

- 16 teams managed to remain in it this week and 1 team came back into it ..
- Of the 16 teams is also listed the trades they probably made ...
- At least one SCS member that I'm aware of is in it (@Diabolical) with team Diabolical Point .... also got a few knocking down the door in the chasing pack ...

They were 49 points ahead of 2nd and 363 ahead of @Diabolical at the end of Rd 12.

I think what is lost in the euphoria is that @Diabolical was ranked 5th after round 11 ...

- He took a different path and dropped to 11th after round 12 ....
- So it was a critical 2 round trade set ... to set up for that final round assault ..

Was going to post something about Philippe ... out of the blocks this year but only a couple of decent innings after that ..

You are correct that I started planning for Round 13 in Round 12. I was hit hard by the changed fixture meaning Renegades and Hurricanes were both on the bye in Round 12, so I knew I would drop rank and have to start looking at players who others might overlook if they were Sixers focused. I have started pulling some info together tonight, so hopefully I will be in a position to share my journey in the coming days.
