I agree with Ironhawk, big call for top 8. He is an absolute gun though. The whole WA border thing does make me want to avoid this type of pick too.
I think with midfielders, us as supercoacher's from my POV, all seem to view them differently. I put brayshaw into could go 115 category which hosts quite a few. And depending on how you play the game, that is an awesome return when you think about it. But if there are 6 guys going around at 120 - personally i'd rather start these guys and trade into a brayshaw. However as i just said, we all look at it differently, i'd rather pick a guy and pay up to begin with someone who has proven 120+ over a season, compared on picking someone who is going to 'take that next step'.
However Walsh top 8 is a fair shout.

There is a chance that Covid is rampant in WA by the time the season starts and if that is the case then the state may open up anyway as there is nothing to be gained by closed borders. However if border closures are still in place then the only way WA teams can play is to be in the ES for extended periods. I think WC will be a lot smarter this time round and better prepared than in 2020 but I suspect it will still have a big impact. And on who is hard to know so it just adds another variable.
There is a lot of "Covid fatigue" amongst us all. If bubbles and testing and restrictions and protocols and .........................continue, then there are going to be many players who will be affected. We won't know who they are, hell they won't know yet themselves, but there will be unexpected performance issues and/or leave taken throughout the AFL player group.
Maybe the WA teams will not need to go into Hubs, the way things are going.
